4	"Men are whining" Oh absolutely, mine wasn't a commentary on which is more prevalent, worse, etc. Just that all such dismissive arguments seem to arise from the same disruptive source. I'm an old fogey though who grew up in the 80s and was taught that discrimination for things like sex and race was never okay. Because having an actual discussion on either topic would erode the hierarchy of oppression that intersectionalists require to thrive. 3	The whole “walk past her or change route to not make her uncomfortable” thing is the same as saying “you shouldn’t dress like that because you will distract the men” in schools and works I grew up in a small community where basically everyone knew each other. I was also 6' and 220lb by the time i hit freshman year. My size and general antisocial behavior weren't an issue there. Once i moved to the San Francisco area that changed. During my time in the city, multiple men told me if they saw me walking down a street they'd seriously consider crossing the street rather than be near me. However, the idea that it's okay for any reason to ruin an innocent person's life for a choice you made (or that you both made together) is disgusting.
