Good point. Stop trying to find women with similar interests/values randomly. Where do women with your interests hang out? What social groups do they frequent? When you crack this code it becomes so easy and enjoyable.

Different techniques and strategies work with different people. Some women I've played it coy (radio silence other than logistics) and others bantered for days before meeting in person. Personally- I enjoy the push/pull of teasing and ribbing over text, even though it can be difficult to pull off at first. I'd recommend dating from a space that DOESN'T come from a place of wealth or job security. What do YOU want in a partner? Remember that you are the prize and work from there. What makes you special? What do you do that is attractive? If if your answer is your bank account (or potential earnings) you need to focus on self discovery before dating.

What are your intentions? If you are looking to play the field, bang, FWB, etc. then you are limiting your potential field of play. Like it or not, social media is used by the majority of dating people and you are shooting yourself in the foot. However, if you are looking to meet like minded people to form a deeper connection, then carry on- so long as you accept that you have already narrowed your potential partners.
