1	My secret weapon It has been a long, long time since I've gone to a bar with a book. I used to do it a bit on weekends since I didn't drink but wanted to see the bands, but couldn't really get into a lot of drinking conversations. I don't know if it worked very well for me- I'm naturally very outgoing (most outgoing person I know?) and it would be hard for me to stay focused on the book, which is why I stopped taking it out with me.
