I just don't get why, if your married, finances haven't been discussed before. Frankly, I don't get why all married couples don't pool everything. Legally you own it in common.

I always assume split. If it becomes clear that she doesn't I tell her that's the plan. If she flat out has no way to pay I'd cover it and she can get the next one (if I decide to show).

In practice yes. The theory behind it is different. I think when you day being a bachelor it implies a man who is a player and selfishly doesn't want to settle down because he doesn't see the benefits of relationships. MGTOW suggests that relationships are actively risky, disadvantageous, and even damaging to men. I do enjoy relationships and my marriage is a happy one so I didn't value bachelorhood or stay a bachelor. But the MGTOW argument is true in my opinion so I would never remarry.

Based on the up/down votes in this chain I think people misunderstood me. I am saying keep her as a safety. Relationships aren't black and white. You don't have to clean break one prior to beginning the search for the next. It falls somewhere between ethical and ethically murky. It is not unethical. Start working out more, improve your style, start chatting up women. Having one pot on the stove will make the next easier cause your already cooking. I'm not advocating you lie and maintain monogamo…

It's a fairly new concept right? I'm around 30 and didn't hear of it til I was several years married. If we split or she dies that will be it for me and women. There's plenty of happy to be had without the headache and risks.

I say any amount of sleeping with women is not an accomplishment. Let a man define his own goals and his own achievements. Also I like fucking thick chicks. Cocks on the bigger side and find they can take it all more enthusiastic than thin girls on average

Fastest way is to buy stylish clothes that are well fitted. Only takes a few hours. Well maybe a few days for tailoring.
/r/seduction12/03/18 08:39 AM

You go to a mall that's in a town with no bars (which is a weird place for a mall anyways) and you will end up chatting up high school girls 7/10 times.

In the world of women the importance of attraction and physical appearance is a given. It's drilled into then since they were 5 and their dad's came home from work saying "there's my beautiful princess". They aren't saying it's not important. They are assuming you have enough socialization to know it is and emphasizing the importance of these other factors. You also have to think about "important for". These women are saying these other factors are of high (maybe even higher) importance for a re…

Toxic masculinity was a problem brought up by men in the 80s complaining that men were losing a place in society to develop male relationships and social support. This is totally a valid complaint about society and the way it treats men and masculinity in the era of feminism. The problem is feminists then placed the blame for this on men themselves. Since men aren't allowed or able to develop these male spaces they, as a group, have no position from which to understand this history or defend the…

I disagree with the men give, women take attitude. That's so simple and foolish that it can basically be dismissed out of hand. As a happily married man, no it's not true. That said everything my wife does is selfish. Everything she does for me is to keep me in her life and build a relationship in which I do things for her. Everything I do is selfish too. Basically, in a good relationship you each feel your getting the better deal (but probably for different reasons). The conceptual transition f…

Mods denied it. I forgot I've also been thinking of the equivalent graph for men seeking women. The vertical axis we could call nurturer and the horizontal idk seducer maybe. You want a hot women who will make a good mother. The difference would be that the divisions would happen at the 50% point. The social skills axis could still be social skills in a nongendered sense both men will experience it as a chill dimension. More chill is better. (The graph of the two axes chill and seducer is basica…

She's not opting for assholes. Women want a man who is both nice and attractive. She is giving primacy to attractiveness. She'd rather have both. When did you see a woman with an ugly asshole? Never. When do you see a woman with an ugly nice guys? Sometimes, though typically in the friend zone.

No, because I won't do the thinking for them either. Edit: I'm not their slave. You suggest I develop it on my own and then share it, a process which would cost me but provide no benefit. In fact, it would make this knowledge less useful to me if shared. TRP is basically trade secrets for being a man. Why would I share trade secrets unless I was going to get help developing them.

About half way through I decided to finish this out and post it on TRP. The women believe they are being honest. However, men and women have vastly different experiences of social interactions including dating. Therefore they develop different explanatory models. This is why their advice derived from this experience and explanatory model (while good for women) is bad for men.

Sounds like she's putting the ball in your court. She already cleared you as fuck material. Now she's trying to back pedal and set up a relationship. She doesn't want to be your friend, she's already fucking you. Either pursue the relationship or bail. If you pursue remember she's created a situation that gives you the power to define it since you're already fucking. Are you a fwb, a bf, husband material. You decide she probably doesn't know yet but realized you habe that potential for her.

Down syndrome is the main reason but there are other age related pregnancy risks as well. Medically advanced maternal age is >35. Your right it's not the only risk factor and plenty of advanced age mothers have healthy kids but it's not ideal. Down syndrome can occur at any maternal age, but the possibility increases as a woman gets older. ... A 25-year-old woman has a 1 in 1,200 chance of having a baby with Down syndrome; by 35, the risk has increased to 1 in 350; by age 40, to 1 in 100; and by…

Factually men are no longer required for reproduction. All of the scientific advancements have been made required to take an adult womans stem cells transform it into a sperm cell, create an embryo, and implant it into her lesbian partner. I'm a man. I'm not arguing that we should have this type of system. I am saying the science is already there it is already possible now.

Even as a medical student, if I mention it it is always seen as a plus. While women may want a man with money and status, it is only because those are indicators of ability. Women want men with ability and physical attraction (largely determined by physical strength and jaw distinction). are you sure they had greater barriers? Women are actively acting to prevent men from organizing on the grounds of exclusion of women. While there is no doubt women had significant obstacles in their path, I think the question of who will have had greater obstacles is one that can only be accurately and fairly addressed after men progress in their liberation movement and efforts to redefine masculinity.

I don't have any sources about any of this. I've only recently become interested in gender issues as the lack (suppression?) of male voices in the field has become more prominent on the public stage. My point really was that we can't assume that men in a broad sense aren't interested because funding isn't available. Though your point about the similarity to the development of women's BC would seem to me to indicate that there is is interest. Some men have hesitation about a new drug that could h…

Well men who don't believe in equality would point to apparent biological differences observed in children in terms of exploration/aggression in boys and nurturing in girls. They would agree with you that the sexes are not equal and that feminism with is stated aim of equal rights for women is ill-concieved (Note: I don't agree with you or with those men. Like I said I'm not a lawyer but my understanding of Roe V Wade is that the issue can really be viewed either way pretty reasonsably (thus it ending up at the supreme court). The supreme court decided that women had the choice to withdraw their ongoing support for the fetus growing in/on them by choosing the action of abortion. They child's right to life is overridden because the mother is not obligated to continue to provide support to the fetus which will then die as a natural result. In pract…

I think there is truth to this but we have to consider the demand in both absolute terms and relative terms to that of female birth control. Is government funding being directed to female birth control but not male birth control? Part of the issue is that it is being developed by a not for profit because pharma companies weren't doing it. They weren't doing it because the high success and long duration of the treatment means it is likely to be lower profit compared to other projects. Also there …

Then she could abort. There is already a conflict in her choice to abort between her right to choice and her childs right to life. Both are recognized and more weight is given to the mother. I'm not a lawyer but I believe the reason is that she is withdrawing support for the baby. So we give deference to inaction over required action. This same right to inaction should be allowed men. That premise is an accurate description of the state of the situation now but your conclusion does not follow from your premise and makes certain assumptions about the normalicy of abortion as an option. The us is a represntative democratic republic. We have a constitution and a vote (for officials who act). You are defining the self-catering of men as an "actual need". It's the same self-serving behavior as the women display. Who's to say the men's target location is better or more important? Only the vote.

I do and as a man I don't necessarily like it but a democracy represents it's citizens' will. If some of those citizens are women then they should get some votes. If more of those citizen's are women then they should get a majority vote. Though you've hit upon a very important point here that often goes disregarded in TRP. I think this is likely more important. Since masculinity values independence and personal strength and femininity values support, social ties, and cohesiveness the female vote…

Social circle =bigger is better. But that article is all that guys own bias. I don't think women want a man who's had run ins with the cops. They want a man who could be violent not who is violent. In marriage is better if you think your personal chances of divorce and subsequent loss of 50%+ parebtal rights/custody are better than the statistical average. Out of wedlock is better if you are going to end up divorcing and losing custody. Then at least you only have to foot the bill for the kid instead of paying her that divorce settlement and possible alimony. I don't think I'd have kids in a marriage.

This is an immature view. Intelligence is neither attractive or unattractive. It's an abstract nebulous concept. If your still in high school then the physical attractiveness of the football players is obvious. Intellectual attraction makes up the bulk of status. It is the ability to pursue a successful career and the conscientiousness to actually do so. It is also social ability.

Well I agree that that it's an issue with masculinity but it's not that it's toxic. It's lost these are socially inept young men raised in a world without positive structure for men. There is no doubt that violence is masculine but these boys aren't learning to use it in constructive ways because it's not PC to direct that impulse in a world that wants to suppress men. TRP is the start of the men's liberation movement. The reason the model is angry is because many of the men discovering it are in the anger phase. It's new and only just starting to make it's entrance into the collective conscious. As it grows men will collectively move through these stages, the movement will clarify and crystalize. It will become less angry in the process. This collective aspect can be seen in the budding conflict between "men's studies" and "masculinity studies" developing in …

I would argue that feminism supports casual sex. The weapon of masculinity is violence and a man's ability to deal damage. The weapon of femininity is sex and a woman's ability to withhold pleasure. Sexual promiscuity empowers women to use their gender weapon freely. Hook up culture changes sex from a withholding to an active weapon. Women are now able to give sex but only to men deemed worthy so you had better get in line. The issue feminists have with the scenario you cited is that the man use…

As a man who asserted that our relationship would be open I'd like to propose an alternative explanation. By allowing her guy to pursue other women additionally, a woman can secure a mate who would be out her league. TRP suggests that male DMV climbs while female value drops. So a couple married in their 20s (or even 30s) may be in a situation in which he has incentive to cheat or leave her. This could be her way of removing that incentive. It is extremely difficult to differentiate genetic from social influences with ethical research. However, if we want to change an aspect of human behavior we should attribute it to social factors which we consider changeable instead of genetics which we consider fixed. The attribution of human behavior to genetic or social factors depends on the observer's motivation to maintain or change the status quo.

If we are talking desire for sex only I would zero it. The sex is only rewarding in regards to the drive but the pursuit of it takes up a ton of time.

Herpes is a downer but really if you get it you get it. HSV-1 rates climb from like 30%ish in childhood to 80%ish in elderly. In the 20-30s it's likely around 50%. HSV2 rate in adult men is something like 1 in 5 or 6. In women it is higher, 1 in 4 or 5. You gotta just live your life man.

Dude read the sea wolf. God damn there are so many guys on here who are just nice guys in a mask. Step one to solving this problem is to reevaluate your "values"

People differ on the born to it vs choose to do it issue even in the poly community. I genuinely believe I was born this way. When I did serial monogamy in my youth before working this out I cheated on every girl I was with. I always told them and I was always forgiven until I decided I wasn't going to live life like that anymore. I bet my wife would say it's a choice for her but she is from an ultra conservative background and I'm really the first man she was ever with so she'll never really kn…

This is interesting to me because I have happened upon these same factors myself by chance. Started taking mag and Vit D for a keto diet and found a huge mood boost. Vit D is well established in clinical literature and is always tested in psych patients (along with vit B12 and folate). Mag was new to me when it happened to me and I haven't looked into it beyond my own experience. Working out will also help with mood. I doubt all that reward tracking stuff is necessary when you can get the same e…

This has been my experience as well (minus the details). These women like to be dominated but by extremely dominant men. This is a generalization certainly some women are outliers.

I am a poly man in a 7 year relationship. I recently discovered TRP. Basically, it was what I already was doing except I probably shouldn't have signed the actual marriage license and I didn't realize the extent of the damage done to men by 3rd wave feminism's focus on language and cognition. I also believe that polyamory favors women and alpha men, while monogamy favors beta men (who still get the shittiest deal in both systems). This sub and the main TRP sub have a strong preference for monoga…

He made no agreement to not cheat on this guy or not have sex with this girl. She has done a moral wrong but OP has not.

This is a bit of a trope. It happens in wolf of Wallstreet. I don't know the name of it but netflix had a doc about some professional dominatrixes a while back and much of their clientele were successful ceo type men. I'm a pretty dominant guy and have recently started exploring this with my wife. I've got a foot and nearly 100lbs on her so she ties me down. It's maybe a bit counterintuitive but it gives you a real rush not because your being forced to submit but because you know that nobody cou…

I'd if you're into cartoon porn or something but those are real women that do exist and likely live in the real world near L.A. If you've found giving up porn to be positive in your life then good for you but the "porn women are only a fantasy" is such a silly anti-porn argument and it always seems to be the first brought up. (Like romange novels, twilight, fifty shades, etc. now that is an unrealistic standard. They don't exist.)

Bro...talk to girls about them. "Oh you like thing I've never heard of, what makes it so great? So you're the type of person that likes things she just said. You should be talking about her.

Cheating on her part is certainly a possibility but not a foregone conclusion. Herpes blood testing is garbage and associated with a high false negative and high false positive rate. The only way to get a solid answer is to test a lesion. Sounds like she had a lesion and definitely has it. Either of you may have or may not have had it before the relationship. She may have or may not have cheated. Also you didn't mention type in relation to your testing or her lesion. It is also possible that you…

It's only women seen as losing value around 30. There is some truth to this sexually as age related reproductive risks start climbing much more sharply around this time. Beyond this it's ridiculous.

This was your first date. I say well done. The first time with something like this is always a lesson and rarely a victory. It's a success if you learn the lesson. There is zero chance you want to pursue this girl sexually now. Even if she changes her mind it's going to be a bad deal for you. If you genuinely like her personality and want to be her friend then do so and pursue her friends (who will likely have similar personalities). If you just like physically or as a romantic interest then agr…

That could be but you havent learned the most important lesson to learn here. I know because lessons are like kicking the bottom out of the bucket, all the water pours out. (In this analogy your attachment to the past is the water). It's not a matter of being a Dick or not. it's a matter of your own freedom from this and future failure. The more you are free from this fear and regret around failure (future and past, respectively) the more you can proceed into your future fearless of ever having …

If you ask he should explain. It's a matter of communication. He is attempting to communicate his ability to handle the situation. By questioning him you communicate both your desire to understand and your doubt in him. So he should address both aspects of your message by explaining and then competently following through so you don't have to ask him again. And you should be with a man you can trust. Either that's him (and you start trusting him) or it isn't (and you put your trust elsewhere) he …

Exactly. Sure it works to follow these fearlessness guidelines and instructions about social communication but it works better to be fearless and actively observe/study communication in your own life instead of applying context specific techniques.

Don't drink in a bar. It will dilute your will. It will disrupt your ability to manage frame and socialize. (It is an easy route to boost confidence but you can do that without sacrificing control) If you're seeking that fun drunk state do it at home. It's not really a social activity (at the point where we are discussing quiting) and it's cheaper.
