I find this applies with SO many issues. I see it with basically all political issues within the parties. It's okay if my fellow party members do it, but not when an opposing party member does it. It's infuriating. Something either is or isn't acceptable. Either it's my body, my choice in all things, or it isn't, etc.

Disagree. He didn't hurt her, he didn't lose his mind and attack her like a mad claw wookie. She touched him without permission, he gave her a stern warning to never do it again.

Female, here. I would also accept a new vacuum, washer and dryer, dishwasher, kitchen gear. I would be equally happy for new shelves and bookcases to help keep my home organized. I think it's a part of being an adult homeowner, maybe? I would just be stoked to get stuff that makes daily life better, easier, etc.

Nobody deserved to get shot OR have their heads shaved. They deserved a fair trial with actual evidence of the damage done because of their actions. This whole thing is fucked up.

I think it's fine for him to mention what he likes. I mean, I like to do things my partner says he likes because I want to be attractive to him and I like knowing ways I can show him I appreciate him. As long as it's not crossing boundaries, I really don't see the problem. If she doesn't feel any particular way about him when he dresses up, it doesn't mean he's not allowed to feel a particular way when she does, you know? Or, if he says he likes when she dresses up, it's okay to say that he'll h…

I'm supposed to be in r/antifeminism, not r/antiwoman. Can we stop acting like FDS is the norm? This is bonkers. FDS is full of misandrists who have a sad, meaningless existence. Even FDS can't be described as feminism, it's way worse than that.

For me, it was a slow transition. I was a huge feminazi as a young adult, then I enlisted in the military and spent some time around differently minded adults. Started seeing the outrage machine around Cecil the Lion and a dentist from Edina, MN lose his practice because of the Twitter Mob. I started noticing more and more of that same toxic behavior on the internet, mostly tied to the left. Then I watched The Red Pill and started down that whole rabbit hole. Eventually I realized that modern fe…

Sorry, but I have to step in, here. The PT standards for the military are more for checking a person's health. Women aren't as physically capable as men, the standards are different to reflect that. You also have to consider that service members are fully covered for all health issues, which is another reason why there are PT standards. But most intensive combat roles (PJs, for example) do require the same physical fitness requirements regardless your sex. A man who cannot pass the men's PT stan…

In a recent unscientific poll of my coworkers, the men pushed for their children to be cut. The women didn't feel like they had a say in the matter.

Sounds a lot like envy 😂😂 And I've not been in a DFAC for years, but it was never that good when I went. Never saw lobster Mac and cheese but that sounds good. Military services would have higher retention rates if they treated service members like humans. That's probably why the USAF has the retention it does. But that could always be improved, and with these younger generations valuing their hair and beards, it seems like an easy thing to accommodate to keep good people in.

I'm prior Air Force, as such I have not read the regs for Army or Navy and can't comment on them. Women in the USAF are allowed pretty much anything from fully shaved or longer. Once the hair goes beyond their collar, they can put their hair up in buns, braids, ponytails, etc. Men do not have the same luxury, or anything close. The least they could do is allow men to have beards. Especially since one of the reasons they cited for relaxing hairstyle regulations for women was because POC women com…

The problem is that uniformity isn't that important for women, but it is for men? Women have a ton of leeway with dress and appearance and men don't. If leadership really cared about uniformity, it would apply to both men and women. It's a double standard. That's all it comes down to.

Because having a beard doesn't hinder lethality, either. It's not considered unprofessional in greater society to have one, so why is it considered unprofessional in the military? It's just one more dumb rule service members are expected to follow.

I think you run that risk regardless. All kids have some sort of baggage from their parents. You never know what it will be until they make that determination for themselves.

This isn't anti-feminism. Also, taking random quotes out of context to prove your point is easy to do and always disingenuous to any real discourse. Like any great work, taking everything written at face value is a mistake.

The article I read stated her son talked to her about it before he killed himself. I didn't hear anything about church gossip. Once again: I'm not condoning her actions, but this isn't the same as some girl getting revenge for something clearly insane and petty. These things happen on a spectrum and while murder (especially the horrific way she killed him) isn't acceptable, I'm just trying to point out that her state of mind wasn't just willy-nilly he said something that offended me or whatever.…

I didn't mean to suggest that he deserved what happened, I don't think he did. Everyone deserves a fair trial. I was just saying that this wasn't a woman who got rejected by a guy and decided to ruin his life. She believed he had molested her children. She was obviously wrong, I'm not excusing her behavior. I'm just saying that these things occur on a spectrum, and while her actions are, and should be, condemned, I do believe the judge made the right call in this case. I mean, Gary Plauche is a …

She claimed she did this in response to finding out he sexually abused her children. Not affording that as an excuse, because he should have been tried for his crimes and found guilty, but it seems one of her children committed suicide when he was 25 because of what he endured. So... Yeah this whole situation is horrible all around.

From what I understand, the concern was that in order for men to vote, they had to sign up for selective service. Women didn't want to be expected to be drafted into the military in exchange for being able to vote. What we got was that women got to have their cake and eat it, too, but men were given no such consideration. I don't know anything about your first question, sorry. But if anybody can correct me on any mistakes in my response, please do so, I am running off my memory, here.

You seem to not actually want to understand what issues men face, so maybe find a different sub. Maybe some men here feel that way, but most definitely don't. You have no idea what his ex wife said to the judge or if she has been manipulating their daughter. It happens all the time. Judges often treat men unfairly in family court, and the burden of proof is often on men to prove they're fit, as opposed to assuming that they deserve 50/50 custody simply because they're a parent and not a second c…

I'm a woman, dumbass, and I'm an egalitarian. Men aren't supposed to be better than women, but they also aren't supposed to be second class citizens. That's my entire point, here. Petty or not, a man paying child support should be seeing his kids, and it's obvious the mother and daughters didn't need the support because they gave the money away to charity. That's the problem.

"It's pettiness typically seen in women" So, you're just a sexist. I guess it's pointless to discuss this with you. Thanks, anyway.

Condoms break. Hormonal birth control fails. But saying that men "make their choice" when they stick their dick in a woman is sexist and demeaning and highlights the inequality of the law when it comes to reproductive rights. Men and women both deserve laws that strive to make whatever power imbalance exists to be more equal, as equal as possible, and you're a sexist if you believe otherwise. It's a perfectly valid issue that women have nearly all of the power over whether or not a child conceiv…

You're right, I guess men can only enjoy sex when they're ready to have children, but women are free to enjoy sex whether they want children or not. That's not sexist at all /s

If it is that important, they will choose another actress. She can't be forced into anything, she has rights. Edit: it's in her contact that she doesn't have to do it, so anybody who hired her understands her limits. It's not like she hasn't been up front.

No, it's just that Biden specifically said he would pick a black woman to run with him. If he'd kept his mouth shut, I would at least be only able to speculate. But all of America knows for sure why she was chosen.

Please, stop. You're in a men's rights sub. If you're not buying what it's selling, move on. You're making an argument against something that wasn't at all the point of the thread. You are the one who isn't having an honest discussion, here, not them.
