1	Approaching a female in a large group of people I think the safer bet is to spot one of the dudes in the group and try and strike a conversation with him if they are regulars. Chances are they will see you everyday and then you won't seem more of an outsider next time you say hi to them. The trick is to keep prodding and get introduced to the group and eventually get to know her.
