Exactly. All of this “wall” stuff neglects to take into account that women around the aged of 18-23 don’t get taken as seriously by most men. Combine that with so many men wanting to play the field, I don’t know how a woman would be able to marry a very “high quality” man unless she actively looks for men 10-15 years older. I think many women who marry early 20’s end up with “low-medium low quality” men who only married them because she got pregnant. There are also studies showing women who marr…

Yeah, currently. But years ago, that was not the case.

I think they have worse teeth partly due to more inbreeding

I think that’s probably due to the obesity rate in America though, and America is just a larger country so there’s more opportunity for people to be ugly/fat since there are just more people.

Brits have higher levels of inbreeding though. I think that’s the main difference.

Scandinavian and Germanic countries tend to have better bone structure (more strong jaws and cheekbones) which helps with aging. Look at celebrities, doesn’t matter if they’re man or women, a big reason they are above average looking is their facial bone structure. Being fit helps too. Maybe there is more obesity in the UK than those countries too

Because I care about my partner more than temporary pleasure? Also I can just have sex with him. A lot of people cheat because they have barely any passion for their own partner (either not attracted or dead relationship) or maybe they’re satisfied with partner but they are really insecure or desperate for physical affection constantly. I’ve neither of those

True. Men who are “high value” as trp says, don’t seem to focus much on fat women. It’s the men who are unattractive/broke etc. who resent that fat woman are “in their league” so they complain about them. These men say stuff like “all a woman has to do is be thin” Which I guess has some truth, but it’s also denying that thin women still have to be somewhat naturally beautiful and put effort in if they want to be “high value”. They have to have nice facial structure (some women just don’t), good …

I agree with you, but trp guys will never admit they obsess over anything (even though they do). They will just deny it. I don’t know if it’s lack of self awareness or what, but it’s very odd that they do this.

I just think a lot of men are in denial of their real worth in the dating market. They think they’re better than they are in some way (better looking, better personality, wealthy even though they are making a pretty average salary etc) I’ve even seen posts before (albeit, not many) on a dating reddit of single dads who don’t want to date single moms and only pursue women with no children. So I do think some of these guys are just in denial of their “league”. I guess you could say the same about …

I don’t know where you’re from, but the area I’m from, being a single mom isn’t “lauded” at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/19 12:26 AM
4

This could be part of it. Maybe even their parents were together, but the dad was working or absent a lot and so the mom did basically all of the childcare and she was mean or abusive. I think many men that grow up to automatically blame women don’t have good relationships with their mom
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/19 04:13 AM

I think the men who whine the most about single moms are lower value men (unattractive, poor, boring), and many single moms are seen as lower value (unless they’re exceptionally beautiful or something). So basically they don’t want these women and resent that they can’t do much better than these women.

Yeah I mean some women are alone because maybe for example they are overweight and don’t want to date overweight men, but honestly it seems like many women are willing to date equally attractive men but they are too picky about personality. They want a guy in their league but who is very funny and smart. Not many men are like that and sometimes men are shy too and women don’t give them chance to get comfortable and write them off or ghost them before they open up. I’ve seen many women complain n…

6’s rarely ever date 9’s though, at least not long term. Theres even studies showing people who are looks matched have more satisfying relationships. If your friend is ever looking for a LTR and something more fulfilling to him I do think he will need to lower his standards and hit on women closer to his league. At the end of the day, I think it harms more people than it helps for men to underrate women. I mean a lot of these same men are ignoring girls in their league, which isn’t exactly fair …
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/19 01:08 AM

Ok but why would a guy not acknowledge that a 9 is a 9? Unless a guy has a particularly great personality or has money, why would a woman who’s a 9 want to date a man below her league? Tons of men hit on 9’s, and most of them aren’t 9’s themselves, the majority are going to be in the 5-7 range (7 might be pushing it). A 9 woman could give a 7 who is funny/charming a chance, but there’s almost no way in hell a 9 woman will give a 5 or 6 a chance, unless he’s really rich maybe (pretty rare). I rea…

If you look at online dating statistics, they will almost universally indicate that it’s quite easy for the average women to find a partner, whereas it’s not so easy for men For every average woman dating someone, there’s also one less single guy. And if a man is having so much trouble finding a partner, he really needs to lower his standards. There are too many men who think they deserve a woman better looking than them and so they only hit on or give attention to women better looking than them…

How are the guys who repeatedly talk to a woman not orbiters? what ARE orbiters then? I feel like you’re just bullshitting at this point. Women may like the attention of the orbiters, but they don’t like the actual orbiters themselves-it is a bittersweet type of thing, because these guys are annoying them but the women enjoy the attention on some level.

Lot of twitter girls sell nudes and have orbiters, none of them are a 3 lmao. If you have this much of a grudge against women to the point where you don’t see clearly then it’s pointless to argue this

If it’s so common, you should be able to find a 3 on social media with a bunch of orbiters. The fact that you cant do this doesn’t bode well for your argument

Those same men probably already hated women though because they’ve been rejected so much. I mean look at incels. Some guys will always hate women, many of them hate seeing any woman dressed up or showing a little cleavage and call them whores. You can’t win with those guys, they’re going to insult women no matter what. For the guys who actually like being around women and don’t have a burning hatred for them, I just think it’s helpful to show them less flattering photos of hot women. It helps th…

Eh. I follow a woman in her 30’s and her close friends are pretty equally attractive to her. If you’re talking about like acquaintances or friends they barely talk to, then that’s a different story. Most people who are close are equally attractive, they might look a little different, but overall one isn’t that much hotter than the other, mostly comes down to personal preference at that point.

It’s usually not though from what I’ve seen, I saw a girls leak her dm’s with orbiters and she was barely engaging with the guys but they kept trying, it was mostly him talking. She said she didn’t want to block him because she was afraid he would get angry and come back on another account, some girls also have their full names online so prob afraid of stalkers finding their address too. I don’t know. I don’t think you people understand gender differences. You’re acting like men and women are the same when they’re not. The average woman needs more validation of her looks than the average man. Men usually want validation of their hobbies and accomplishments, not their looks. Average or ugly men can easily make friends online who validate them if they take up some hobby like gaming, bodybuilding, etc and feel less lonely. I’ve literally seen men validating other men about their pr…

Women don’t care about sex as much as men. Men are way hornier on average. You’re buying into the lies these women are telling, acting like sex is all they want. It’s bs, don’t be naive

I don’t think it’s wrong, I’ve seen a good amount of girls who post thirst traps and sell nudes talk about depression and mental health struggles, or even family problems (absent or shitty dad usually). I’m sure there are some who are mentally well and come from good families, but I think the majority aren’t, and it’s part of why they start doing that in the first place- attention seeking. I mean most girls from good families and relatively stable don’t have titty or ass photos all over their pa…

Wait why are you talking about fault? Maybe I missed something. I mean yeah, they probably do need to lower their standards, but tbh i think being a butterface is probably confusing because they get sexual attention and get called hot by some guys, but then those same guys probably rather date someone with a prettier face. I just think butterfaces have it tougher than people realize. I mean look at porn, there’s a lot of butterfaces and they have to do gross or painful stuff, some of them don’t …

I don’t think they “like” their orbiters at all, I just think they like the attention and that’s it. I also don’t think these girls consider their orbiters as their friends at all. Can almost guarantee they think of them as “weird/awkward dude”, and they continue to engage him and pretend to like him out of pity (many women feel bad just ghosting these guys), and some may even be sending her money so she has to engage to keep the money flow.

Do you really think men would find it flattering to be hit on by a gross woman? I would imagine most men would feel pretty neutral to that, and would just think “meh she was gross” and move on, unless the man is really, really gross himself, then maybe he’d be flattered.

I mean even the super gorgeous women online don’t always look super gorgeous. I think it would help most guys to see more unflattering photos of them, in worse lighting or without makeup etc. like if you compare a glamorized photoshoot pic of some gorgeous celeb to a paparazzi photo of her without makeup on a gloomy day, you’ll see how much lighting and makeup can do in how you perceive someone’s attractiveness. I think this would help to keep guys’ standards in check, but I guess many guys don’…

Yes, I think this nails it, but most guys will never admit this because they’d have to acknowledge that their real life opinions are affected by their online life, if that makes sense. Maybe it’s an ego thing.

I think the problem is some guys have crazy unrealistic standards but they won’t admit it. They look at some girl in real life who is legit a 9 and think she’s like a 7. I think a lot of guys are so used to looking at women online and seeing models and celebs with makeup and hair done, airbrushed or posing provocatively and their standard have gotten kinda messed up from that. Again I don’t think some guys will admit to this, for whatever reason.. maybe they’re too stubborn to admit that what th…

Well yeah, you don’t find men pretty because you are not attracted to men lol. Obviously you won’t find them attractive. I think women’s attraction to men is wider than most men think, but women just don’t discuss it very often out loud. I’m a straight woman and I find men attractive who I’ve seen some guys call “average”. Like I find normal guys to be “hot” if they have a nice face and decent build, as long as they’re not obese or super underweight - like Marilyn Manson style. I even find some …

I disagree that they have no coping mechanisms. There are tons of forums for incels to vent and share their feelings, even on Twitter you can find troves of them if you know where to look, many of them befriend each other, or some get into gaming and make friends there or through some hobby or fandom. If they need support, there’s plenty online. I still don’t see how these mentally ill thirst trap girls who spend all their time online have it that much better than a typical incel.

That’s the thing, even the “attractive” ones are attractive for their age. So yeah I agree, it’s still kinda creepy when they’re attractive but it’s even creepier when it’s some balding/fat middle aged guy.. which is what it usually is. I also said this in another comment but many old guys “dating” young girls are a sugar daddy relationship. I think that’s why men think young girls like older men, they don’t realize that the guy is likely paying her or buying her gifts, it’s not a normal relatio…

I think incels overestimate how much better it is. These girls are pretty much all the same- they post thirst traps, act like they love sex but really they’re sad and depressed that they can’t get a decent guy to stay with them and love them. Some of them have mental illness like BPD as well, which is why they crave sexual attention in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/19 02:22 AM
7

Yeah but mental illness doesn’t care if you’re hot or not. Your life can still be pretty shit underneath the “hotness”. Also when talking about butterfaces, (hot body/ not good face) I’ve legit known a few girls like this, and some guys are almost just as mean to them as they would be to an “ugly” girl, and they have trouble getting decent quality men to commit. You can be a 1 on the binary (means guys would have sex with her) but still not be able to get a decent boyfriend and be pretty much ju…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/19 02:16 AM

Nah not from what I’ve seen. A lot of girls only hang out with other girls in their league or very close. The ugly/fat girls tend to stay away from hot girls because they’re jealous of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/19 12:22 AM
6

Ok, lol. Still doesn’t mean that it makes women happy to get meaningless male attention. Many of these women who sell nudes or do thirst traps are really depressed or have some mental illness
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/19 12:18 AM
4

I mean yeah, that’s why I said “can’t or don’t want to”. But I don’t think its impossible for them to become more attracted to an average woman though. They will never be as attracted to an average woman as they are to like, a porn star, but I think it is possible for a straight man to become more attracted to the average woman if he tries. So many guys spend an obscene amount of time looking at hot women online, I mean do you really think this doesn’t have any effect on a guy’s standards and ho…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/19 12:07 AM

That’s because women are objectified overall more than men though. Doesn’t mean they get the guy they want. Pretty much all women want a decent looking guy that they enjoy being with to commit to them. Many “visible” women don’t even get that, much like these invisible men don’t get the girl they want. If a woman is a butterface for example, she will get plenty of male attention but she won’t have that many high quality guys willing to commit to her and spend time with her outside of sex. A lot …

Ok fine, how about when she becomes single, why would he think he could get her? These guys are clearly too dumb to simply look at the girl’s exes, and go “hmm I’m worse looking than those guys”.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 11:52 PM
7

Eh. Most hot girls aren’t friends with fat girls, they’re friends with other hot girls. I don’t think there’s as much lying going on between women as you think.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 11:49 PM
15

I mean, part of that is the guy’s fault though for not coming to his own conclusions and just looking at reality. If an average looking man can’t look at a hot woman and her decently hot or hot bf and say “hmm that guy is better looking than me”, that’s pretty much his fault at that point for thinking an average looking guy would have a shot with her. I mean what does the guy expect? It seems like these guys just want to get mad and blame others when really they should have come to this conclusi…

I feel like the average man might say he’s attracted to the average woman, but by “average” they mean a woman who is average by Hollywood standards. So yeah, I do think a ton of men are only attracted to women out of their league, and they spend way too much time giving attention to those women even though those women want nothing to do with them unless they’re going to give them money for interacting with them.. cam girls, girls selling nudes, Belle delphine etc. I mean who do you think is givi…

I think a big problem is that these guys don’t want to date women in their league because they don’t find them attractive. I mean they’d be better off lowering their physical standards, but many of them can’t or don’t want to.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 11:19 PM
6

Because they’re working under the idea that young women like older men, they mistakenly think they’re physically attracted to older men, but it’s actually their money. It doesn’t help that many sugar daddies lie and say their sugar baby is their “girlfriend”
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 11:07 PM
14

No.. they’re really not. Gross old dudes hit on young girls all the time, some of them are even married too, they just don’t care about their wives..usually because their wife has gotten fat or has stopped having sex with him. If the old dudes who hit on young girls were attractive, there would be a lot less complaining from young girls. There’s a reason so many girls whine “this old guy hit on me ew” it’s because he’s not attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 10:43 PM
5

So you’re saying more unattractive men are married than attractive men? Or what are you saying exactly ? I don’t understand what that has to do with this. Most unattractive middle aged guys are married to unattractive middle aged women..
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 10:41 PM
6

They have it all messed up because hard work can get you the girl, but it’s working hard at their job, or some sport or talent. Hitting on someone repeatedly isn’t going to make a girl go “wow, he is a hard worker” lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 10:34 PM

Dude, a lot of middle aged guys are gross. The average middle aged guy is balding and looks pregnant. Young hot girls only tolerate gross old guys if they’re willing to spend money on them. Don’t be delusional and act like most middle aged guys are attractive

You think highly attractive women don’t have a lot of orbiters? How so?? Part of the “excessive male attention” is from orbiters that hang around and comment on all their pics/ dm them repeatedly, or try to contact them or date them irl. I don’t understand how you think they have less orbiters than fat or older women, that is not what Ive seen. Also how is a guy who repeatedly tries to hit on a woman out of his league.. NOT an orbiter? That’s pretty much the definition of an orbiter. Not all orb…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 10:21 PM

This is true but men also overestimate their own appearance, look at the article in the op. They did a study where men rated their own appearance then other people rated them and a lot of them overshot how attractive they are. So I think a good amount of orbiters genuinely think they are in the girl’s league when they aren’t.
