2	When my friend said this to me, I thought she was joking. She was completely serious. It was an excerpt from Louis C.K.'s "Hilarious" special. It succinctly & comedically sums up how ridiculous people of both genders are in a bar/club situation. I've had far more occasions where accidents of birth have held me back far more than advanced my cause. 1	Supporting deadbeat wife As someone who was a child that had to deal with dad's, "helpful girlfriends" and lodgers, that's a mixed bag of screws. Is it that far out of the realm of reason that I've yet to come across a situation where I was aware that others were treating me as preferred because of my sex as opposed to who I am as a person? I've experienced privilege from not being a dick. I'm not really sure what you mean by the things women encounter above any other group. Because that's huge & nebulous & I feel differently about different aspects of different "things". In regards to my stance on sexism against women, I find it as unsettling as sexism against men.
