I think we might be overlooking the issue of what we even mean by MGTOW. I agree with the other commenter and tend to think of MGTOW in a more abstract sense. But it seems the reality of the actual communities, /r/MGTOW certainly included, is that it winds up picking up conservative ideologies. Can you explain why you think MGTOW is inherently conservative? Or perhaps more to the point, why it is inherently an ideology?

I don't disagree with any of that. It would however be considered "healthy" to have sex regularly, unlike drugs. And to use the food analogy, masturbation is like Hot Pockets whereas sex is like a nice home cooked meal.

The big difference between sex and drugs though is that we are biologically programmed to want sex. It's not required for individual survival, but it is required for survival of one's own genetics, which is secondary, but still a pretty driving force that you can't ever really get around.

I think of it more like normal food. When you have food every day, yes it's just another thing. But once you go like a day or two without food, you get really hungry. Go a day or two without sex and you'll really want sex again, even if you had it every day for the previous 5 years.

It's definitely highly dependent on the school. I went to a tech school and it was definitely way lower quality of women in terms of looks. I dunno, just saying I think typically I want to bang more than 1 out of 15 girls in their early 20s, generally speaking.
