I understand what you mean and I also agree to an extent. Those with drive will find a way to excel in many situations, whether that's education or anything else. That is fundamentally red-pill, to take whatever cards you're dealt and make the best possible play even when given the worst hand. Or to improve oneself in the face of adversity. This is also why our educational system is so fucked up. It's totally aimed at rewarding the ability to memorize and precisly echo knowledge instead of creatively coming up with solutions to given problems. Abso-fucking-lutely, this point deserves it's own post.
