This is the correct answer. It’s not the answer I’d want to hear, but absolutely correct, nonetheless.

Even though your hormones must be going haywire right now, try and redirect that energy into finding an an activity that you really enjoy, preferably one that can be enjoyed either by yourself or with another person or two. Because if you know how to have fun, then other people (including girls) will want to come have fun with you.

One thing I've done is I've stopped wearing graphic tees every day. Switched to solid color v-necks. I didn't think it was that big of a deal until my friends told me it really does make a difference.

What if your intent is just to have a conversation with someone? You don't have to pretend to be attracted to that person if that's all you intend.

I'd reverse the aliens text so that you're poking fun at yourself, while at the same time complimenting her. "...I'll be safe, but they're coming for you so I'm just texting to say goodbye."

I've been thinking about this lately... Self-validation is kind of like masturbation. It feels good, and you don't need anyone else to do it for you, but it sure as hell feels good when that happens.

It seems to me like it's a psychological thing. For some women, being abused and controlled by a domineering male somehow registers in their minds as stability and security. They may think their life has no structure unless they're being told what to do.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
