She probably, like most women these days (and I'm not trying to be disrespectful just an observation in the world of instant gratification) just looking for attention/validation. I mean when you are together with someone a certain amount time, hard not to look for that if that makes sense.

I was kind and short with it, no point in being a dick when someone is struggling, but it's like... come on man

Got my kiddo! Then middle of the day ex texted me her boyfriend died and pics of them and how bad she's struggling. Call your damn sister lol

I've had multiple women cheat on me, and it's not because I'm a bad guy, it's because I'm a nice guy. I even thank them for it, because cheating is one of like, one and a half things that give me instant closure that someone doesn't deserve my time because they don't respect me as a person or a partner.

You are your own success. And no one is responsible for it other than you. Hope is a weak alternative to drive and determination. 2.5 years out of divorce. 1.5 years being happy with myself, because no one told me that hard truth.

Hey bud, I feel this. It took me about a year to overcome that, and also the advice/support from some friends. So let me be your friend while you're excited for the remaster of D2 like I am ;) You are also a person. While you and the ex didn't work, every person, no matter what, needs their own down time to relax so that they can be a BETTER parent. After a year of every weekend with my kid (which was great) I finally got a babysitter to go out with the boys. It was the first time I had been out…

She will have to disclose what those payments are for during discovery, and ANY account linked to her name. Start making a list of any identifying information of those cards and make sure they are separately requested during discovery. If those cards/accounts aren't in her name you can for sure request an explanation under the guise of a financial/equitable interest in where that money was going or what it was doing. It may turn out to be sunk costs, but at the very least you can put the pressur…

So there I was standing next to my best friend who came to town while my wife was gone. We ended up going out to the bars. Got some taco bell, he hadn't seen the new dredd yet, and I was like, we better watch it upstairs on my bedroom TV that was the UHD 4K TV in the house. We passed out. My wife video calls the next morning. Sees us both hungover AF, but in the same bed. Accuses me of being gay. We both laugh. He says, spadamaz, if we were gay, our lives would be so much easier. But we're not. …

I'm alone too man. And its hard after being around someone (in my case) 5 years, good or bad. At least someone was there and maybe it was a good day. I have an old friend (female) I've reconnected with now, and we both have kids that like each other. We are 100% in the understanding that this is platonic, but we talk. While our kids play, we vent about our bullshit. Neither one of us has a desire to date, even if we DO like each other, its not what we need. You have to clear your head and be 100…

I spent 3 months paying her bills after I filed due to court order, when that was up, a few nights a week (when I don't have my daughter, have her every weekend thank God!) I go out and do whatever the F I want. Been celebrating 3 months now. Go out, make friends, bring some greasy food home, eat it in bed, and go to sleep with no judgement and a nice quiet peaceful evening. lol. Not for everyone, but I'm sure as shit happy.

Nothing on that article mentions anything about women sharing in the blame. WHY would men want to get married? To be used and abused, berated, chastised.... you can thank REALITY TV AND THE MEDIA for the decline in moral relationships. Men WOULD get married if there was any tangible value other than wondering if your unicorn turns into Satan's Succubus 1, 2, 5, 10 years down the road. Ffs.

I'm in Oregon too going through a divorce. Its been 4-5 months since I've been out of house. 3 year old daughter has already told me about two of mommy's special friends. I haven't even been on a date and don't intend too and spend every waking minute on the weekends making my little lady feel special. Women are retarded. At least my kiddo is smart for her age and doesn't let it affect her.... so far anyway. I want to do something about it, but you're right, you can't. All the guidance out there…

I thought my 20s were fun, honestly didn't have a life plan past 24. 35 now, and just looking at where my career is hopefully going and actually saving money... doing what I want, it's a blast. You really are only as old as you let yourself be. Hitting the gym, just doing my own thing, getting into cool hobbies... In hindsight my 20s were garbage and a bunch of wasted time.

I'm a pretty decent model painter. Looking at getting some models to build and sell for the addicts in the tabletop gaming world. Lots of people want to play but don't have the time or patience to make their armies look baller. I enjoy doing it, but don't really play, so its maybe a good way to do my hobby for free and make a little.

Her excessive drinking which caused her to usually become verbally and physically abusive, threatening to call the cops on me because it was my fault... then just not coming home from the bar causing me to take our little 3 year old to work with me. Last straw was swearing at me in front of our kid at 9 AM and telling everyone I was a homosexual.

Can definitely reinforce this. I started divorce about 5 months ago. Began drinking a lot as it was the only way I could fall asleep. KICK THAT SHIT TO THE CURB. while you detox you won't sleep that well, not gonna lie, but after a week or so your anxiety will calm, involve yourself in some healthy brain habits (painting, reading, music, etc, learn something new).... its hard but force yourself to do those things. Accomplish one little goal every day and regain your motivation for yourself.

Are they both drinking? If they are let the authorities know. As someone posted this week they confronted the stbx about drinking and driving with the kids, SHE called and the police accused him of threatening her. If one of them is sober, not much you can do, even though its obviously not a good parenting choice.

I feel your pain. Dealing with our version of CPS now and getting them to not blow off your explanations of what is actually happening is a nightmare. It sucks, even if you wanted out, it sucks it didn't work. He just has to remember that like all us divorced or divorcing men, we had lives before marriage. Things we liked to do, freedom to explore what we want. A great part of being married is sharing those experiences or excitement with someone, but prior to that we all found a way to be excited and proud all on our own. Remind him of that.

Anger issues "from her past" that she is working on. Going to the bar while I was working on the property, her with no job... Having me pay. Not looking for a job. Telling me she will 'get better', 'just needs time'. Also, answering the phone when she called as we dated before.

Don't run from it, you'll regret it one way or another. I know the feels, I want to do the same in my situation, but nut up and get the job done. Harsh, but that would be my advice. As much as it sucks, divorce is not a place for emotion or weakness. File, file everything you can.

I mean, yeah. Everyone just assumes.... C in the title, you make 200k+.... but no. I do not. What I do have is freedom, autonomy, and a performance/results based drive so that if I'm still with this company in 10 years, the company is now making a substantial and dependable profit, and THEN we can start distributing bonuses. But that's unfortunately not the way small business goes. Ups and Downs. All the time. And you gotta learn to deal, or go back to the line.

I'm not tooting my own horn here, it's a small family operating business, little over 3 mil a year revenue, usually we screw something up and have a very low profit lol. But still, I know for a fact, I'm lucky to be where I am even though I'm making 50% of what a CFO would be at a medium sized business. But I also don't front it around out in public either. Women are so easily influenced by each other it's crazy. That other girl RUINED the friend kind enough to allow her to stay there. When you go to boot camp, the first phase the USMC literally shatters your perception of reality. On purpose. Because you are about to join an effort that has all of the curtains and shade of the world pulled back, people get shot, and not everyone comes home. During this time they are still building you physically, so that in phase two they can slowly start 'allowing' you to do things right. It's not a bad plan. Being self sufficient is awesome, but cleaning and taking care of something you buy is a point of pride, and the bigger it is the harder it is. Also, buy whatever you want. If you say, 1 year, 5 year, 10 years from now change your mind and WANT a family (not saying you would), you sell that place, make bank on whatever equity you put into it, and buy the place you need then, probably with a huge downpayment. Again, not saying you would decide to marry or have kids, but there…

I think its more internal. Like how you know when someone harmonizes off key, or how intrinsically orange and green look terrible together. Camouflage on the face is supposed to be darker on raised areas, and lighter on recesses, naturally tricks the eye into presenting a non contoured surface.
