Roe vs Wade has been Overturned; If we truly believe in Human Rights, we must support a Women’s Right to ChooseYea it wouldn’t be a problem if someone aborted a baby at 8.5 months because no one does it unless they need to. You can argue about the morality of “what if they didn’t need to but they just didn’t want the child at 8.5 months”. No one does that. So it’s a pointless argument. Also you haven’t made it exactly clear when you believe life starts? Because if it’s at conception then that’s dumb because it’s just a bunch of cells, but you said you don’t belive it’s when it can live on its own or at b… | /r/MensRights | 25/06/22 12:20 PM
Roe vs Wade has been Overturned; If we truly believe in Human Rights, we must support a Women’s Right to ChooseNo one aborts right before birth because that’s a massive risk to person carrying the baby. You can only get an abortion 24 weeks in unless giving birth would be a great risk to the mothers life. So no, no one is aborting at 8.5 months and the fact that you think they are means that you have a clear lack of understanding about abortion. Secondly by your own logic you don’t believe at life starts at conception, you believe in life starting when it can live apart from the mother. So that means you… | /r/MensRights | 25/06/22 09:21 AM
Roe vs Wade has been Overturned; If we truly believe in Human Rights, we must support a Women’s Right to ChooseAh fuck you’re not from the US. Guess that’s you: 1 me:0 But tell me why is saying life starts at birth and not conception psychotic? | /r/MensRights | 25/06/22 12:00 AM
Roe vs Wade has been Overturned; If we truly believe in Human Rights, we must support a Women’s Right to ChooseI would say cry about it but you’re winning in the USA. I’m just thankful I’ll never have to go to literal hell. At least people like you will never take power in Britain | /r/MensRights | 24/06/22 10:20 PM
| -3 | Roe vs Wade has been Overturned; If we truly believe in Human Rights, we must support a Women’s Right to ChooseI’m sorry it doesn’t have bodily autonomy because it’s not a person. Life starts at birth. Secondly “what about the child’s right to bodily autonomy?”. No baby has bodily autonomy, because it’s a bloody baby it can’t make decisions it eats poison Also “no state has banned abortion” it’s been a day. You can’t just say “they won’t” after a singular day of abortion being left to states | /r/MensRights | 24/06/22 09:53 PM |
Roe vs Wade has been Overturned; If we truly believe in Human Rights, we must support a Women’s Right to ChooseNo it’s what aboutism. “Our right to bodily autonomy is at threat” “Well what about the times you didn’t protect ours” It’s an attempt to muddy the waters of the moral high ground and justify their own actions of not wanting to help or justify them not caring (I will still recognise that there is massive hypocrisy). Secondly the right to bodily autonomy is a massive bloody right. Wanna get any medical procedure? To bad your state ruled it against the law and now you have to live with the massive… | /r/MensRights | 24/06/22 09:15 PM
Roe vs Wade has been Overturned; If we truly believe in Human Rights, we must support a Women’s Right to ChooseI hate how much what aboutism is being used. “But they haven’t supported mens reproductive rights so why should we support theirs?” Yea but they should still get reproductive rights full stop. Someone’s rights shouldn’t be removed no matter what type of person they are | /r/MensRights | 24/06/22 07:42 PM
