It's kind of a shit contract when one of the parties doesn't know the terms. Having limits is fine, poly is a limit for many. It's one of mine. But don't be surprised that there are people out there living in different ways. Btw, you don't need "adequate grounds" to dump someone. It's an at will scenario, you can walk at any time.
