Tenthly: DRESS PROPERLY -No loose clothing. I dont mean wear a stretchy cotton shirt that shows off your man boobs, but dont wear baggy shit, you look like a teenager. -3 colour rule, unless you want to peacock (which I dont believe in, personality trumps all). Hank Moody. Brown boots. Dark Blue Jeans. Black shirt/Blazer. Boom. I mostly agree with this, fit is the absolute most critical thing here, a well fitting t-shirt and jeans is a perfectly acceptable outfit most of the time. However, don't…

My advice is to flirt like mad. See if she reciprocates and then ask for her number ("Hey you are fun, why don't we trade numbers?). This shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 interactions. I love flirting with service staff, they generally take it well as long as you aren't creepy about it since it breaks the monotony. If they are interested it also affords the opportunity to show that. I do this pretty often, to the point that I have had people ask what my deal with waitresses is.

I literally asked a girl out today in the same situation and she didn't say yes because I waited too long and got a boyfriend (I know she was single a few months ago). On the plus side, she sounded excited about hanging out as friends so hopefully I can parlay it into meeting more people. If you see her outside of work occasionally I recommend asking there (I see some of the baristas at the Starbucks I go to at least once a week outside of work). Or else I would recommend going in during a slow …

This is a good realization to have. People in general have different filters around different types of people. One of these is the filter men put up when they are talking to women they find attractive. They will filter out anything that they think might be unattractive or offensive, which ultimately results in them being boring. When talking to women they don't find attractive they don't put the filter up. Over time the filter disappears as your confidence in talking to attractive women improves…

Note that around these parts, being "nice" generally means you are a meek uninteresting person, often one that expects sex for doing a woman a "favour". No woman is even going to make note of a guy acting this way, or if they do, it isn't positive. At least if you are an asshole you are generally confident about it, which is attractive. Neither are the preferred option though, you want to be the good guy who is interesting and drives the woman to be attracted to him. He brings positivity and fun…

Contrary to popular belief, nice guys win in the end. Women trust them more than douchebags. If i'm going to sleep with someone i'd rather that they be nice than a dick. Nice guys don't win in the end, good guys do. Nice is what you say about someone that you don't have anything more interesting to compliment them about. Nice is what you say about someone who you can't find anything wrong with, but nothing right either. A good guy is the person that brings value into your life, he shows you some…

This is something where if you decide to go ahead you must tread carefully and have a good idea of how your friend will react In my case he practically got angry at me when I mentioned that his ex was clearly into me because I hadn't already gone for it. A 1.5 year relationship came out of it and I am still just as close with my friend. On the other hand, another friend's ex was quite obviously into me, and even if I had wanted to date her I wouldn't have because it would not have turned out wel…

You don't have to go to a bar very often to be considered a regular. I typically go to a specific bar every week or two (for a trivia night) and I know most of the waitresses names as well as the owner of the bar. A friend of mine even invented a drink that they serve, which is always fun to explain to people.

He put quotes around "nice guy" for a reason. He is talking about exactly what you are describing: The guy who does nice things and expects sex in return for no good reason.

While the overarching theme to everything that goes on in this subreddit is picking up women but that is not the sole purpose of this subreddit and the pickup community at large. It is mostly about improving yourself and being the best person you can be at this moment. For those that don't want to become Casanova's going out and making cold approaches are not really required. That doesn't mean that you don't require practice, but you can practice in the progress of your everyday life (always be …

So, let me get this straight. You have a girl you met, which you like, and seems to like you back. Yet for some reason you have decided that you shouldn't pursue her? On top of this you are using school as an excuse for not spending any time with her? First off, the school excuse is pretty bad, pretty much nobody is so busy that they can't see someone. Plan ahead and make some time. Secondly, you are interested in her, and you think she is interested in you, I fail to see how this is oneitis. Un…

You need to come up with a way of describing your job that isn't too technical, but isn't boring. Off the top of my head: "You know in heist movies where they break into a computer and steal crucial information? I prevent that from happening." "Companies pay me to break into their computer systems so other people can't." The trick is to come up with something that accurately describes what you do in an interesting way, but doesn't give too much away. Also don't be afraid to say something just te…

I would but I'm scared of the girl thinking I'm terrible, clumsy, and awkward at sex. that's what I stress about. You will be, the only way you are going to get better is to practice. Giving the girl memorable experiences will come later, you just need to get experience first. I see. I don't know if a lot of girls would still hang out if I told them... Some may not, you would be surprised at how many will. I probably had 3 or 4 girls straight up tell me they would sleep with me (all knowing I wa…

I feel like I need to respond to this, just because reading that reminded me far too much of myself (i.e. I could show that to friends and they would think I wrote it). Now, as someone who was in pretty much the exact same position as you, you just need to go for it. You are trapped in the thinking, "I can't do this because I haven't done it" You are going to have to break out of the loop at some point. You are seriously too stressed out about how "memorable" all the firsts will be. Half the fun…

Your main point is very true, you accomplish nothing by thinking about what you should say. This only results in missing the moment where saying anything would have done the job. I noticed a huge change when I stopped thinking about what I was saying, and just started saying whatever came to mind. People that I meet seem much more interested in the conversation and are excited to see me again. I am unapologetically myself, I don't censor what I say around different people, because if they don't …

People tend to like people that have similar attitudes as themselves. So people with low self confidence tend to find others with low self-confidence (White Knights are an example of this). Now when I am around people with low self-confidence, it just makes me annoyed at the person. I've turned down women that I have tons in common with and find attractive just because their low self-confidence made it so I can't spend more than a couple of hours with them without wanting to shake them and say, …

I had a short period of time there where I had 2 or 3 girls tell me this. I completely ignored all the signs at that time because I had all my efforts focused on a specific girl. Oh well, glad I know better now.

First, who cares if you can identify nice girls and snobs? Just talk to the person and find out yourself, if they are a snob, then you didn't want to associate with them anyway. You will be surprised at how interesting many people are, especially those you wouldn't have usually tried to talk to. You also shouldn't care if a girl has a boyfriend. The only different outcome from approaching them compared to a girl without a boyfriend is that she may become your friend and introduce you to all of h…

I know a girl that is like that, yet I still call her by her given name or my own nickname for her. Lets just say it definitely didn't hurt me.

This is why I don't like the 1-10 scale. It is pretty much meaningless except for a few girls that are "almost" universally considered attractive (there are always exceptions, for example, I don't get why people find Christina Hendricks so attractive). Quite frankly, I don't care what number people will rate a girl I was talking to, all I care about is whether or not I want to sleep with her. Anything more specific than that is for my own personal use only.

Ok, so as a bowling geek, how do you handle taking a date bowling when you are really good? I probably should just go and make it a great time, but I can't get over the idea that scoring double what she scores isn't quite ideal. Playing bowling coach maybe? One of my favourite bowling tricks is to throw without the thumb, it always seems to impress people with the amount of curve you get.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
