Huh? This guy literally pulled the most random shit that no one here has ever talked about. Some women here are actually abuse survivors who are learning and talking about boundaries, having good standards, and putting ourselves first before a man who puts zero effort in. I’ve never seen anyone here discuss how to be manipulative.

I don’t get why libfems act like they’re so for women’s rights and freedoms, yet promote porn that is literally catered for the male gaze and an industry that profits off of the abuse of women. I mean, it also promotes unhealthy and unreal body standards, does not teach / portray how sex really is, and is creating a bunch of addicts. It ruins lives and marriages and relationships yet no one can say this without getting called every name in the book, controlling, or crazy.

Wtf? This dude is insane! Literally it is a normal question to ask what one does for work as an ice breaker. Very very insecure guy lol

Male incels, in my mind, don’t try to improve theirselves or have any self reflection. They enable each other’s unhealthy beliefs that they just deserve sex because they’re entitled to it. I mean, the incel web is pretty dark and uses abusive language towards women, not even understanding that MAYBE there is something wrong with them that they need to change or improve to find a lady. The gals over here at FDS, if they are not actively dating, they are voluntarily celibate to work on themselves,…

My husband did this. He was a 27 year old man child with a receding hairline meanwhile I was 19/20 in my prime. I left his ass and so should she!

Lol this was triggering I used to be this friend. I think it’s okay to vent every once in a while, but if it’s excessive it’s time for a therapist. I do have sympathy for women in these situations, as it’s obvious that they are drowning and are holding on to anyone they can. I think it’s not abnormal or necessarily narcissistic to have a period of time where this happens. I think mental health services do need to be more accessible for young gals and ladies, or at least more affordable. My frien…

This!! Absolutely. It’s a part of the facade.

It’s okay! I learned from the whole relationship- I needed it. It really is a covert tactic. He’s quite narcissistic, and I was always left in confusion of well, he continued to act poorly, but he’s in therapy. He’s trying! A lot of people say narcs don’t go to therapy, but I actually think many covert ones love it because they just get to talk and talk about themselves in any light they want. Fooling the therapist, even highly trained ones. This is why I get all nervous when people tell others …

Exactly. My husband is so “committed”. I thought it was great, until I learned he was triangulating me and others with what his therapist “says”. Honestly, I hope it helps him eventually but not with me in the picture!

My husband (soon to be ex) just used therapy to become a better abuser, financially drain his parents, and paint himself as a victim over and over. Sometimes men entering therapy doesn’t mean an answered prayer- it can make things worse sometimes. This might sound controversial, but some men entering therapy don’t always want to be “better”. They want others around them to be.

Me too. Met him when I was 19. He was 26. He wanted me to move in within two weeks, fully depend on him, swept me off my feet by taking me on a trip to France. He wanted to marry me “while I was still a teen” because it was “unique” to him. Got married after like three months of dating, and the day before my 20th birthday. Abusers can truly make you feel like you’re their soul mate, until one day it all changes and they show who they really are. And so many woman go through this.
