The women's team is the best women's team in the world.. why do you have to compare apples to oranges? MLB makes a lot more than little league because they get a much higher viewership/ratings. Their job is to play in that "junior varsity league" as you put it, and they are the best in the world at that. The men's job is to play against the other men and they are awful at it. This isn't about talent against each other, it's about talent relative to their playing competition

Holy shit your logic is flawed. The women's team is the best in the world while the men's team couldn't even qualify for the most recent World Cup. Sure, the men's league is more competitive and has more talent, but that is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is that the women's team torches its competition while the men's team gets embarrassed against it's competition. That's why more Americans watch the women and why they get paid more. If the men want to make more money, they need to be better…

Maybe because our women are World Champions while our men can't even qualify. Just a thought.. the women are much better at what they do, thus get paid more

$8 billion value loss from one commerical?? Haha get real. Couldn't possibly be because the entire shaving industry is on the decline and there have been new startups cutting into Gillette's market share since way before Gillette ever aired that commercial.
