A friend is someone you can trust to call you out. Dropping friends over something like this means you don't really value the people you call "friends". I'm all for doing what you want to and not letting people tell you otherwise but again everything within reason.

Same here. The key is to get involved. Join clubs, make friends, stay on campus as long as possible. Even if I'm done with classes I'll hang in the library doing work or studying or just chilling with people I know because its either that or go back to my place.

Church. No seriously, Google a few church's and look for ones with college ministries. Mine does a lot of fun activities outside of church like beach bonfires. Women are much more approachable in churches and when you really get to know them you may find they aren't as christian as they seem in church.
