The lines I put were literally from my exes friends, I swear it was a solid 5 minutes back and forth calling each other "so much prettier". I have never seen or heard any guy I've been friends with do anything remotely close. Best I've been told is "you're not half bad, you could totally get some if you wanted" and "fuck her, let's drink"

Genuinely curious, does anyone else think these mediocre girls get such inflated egos because of how girl friends act towards each other? Guys harp on each other and say shit point blank with no issues, but girls always talk each other up with "omg you're stunning", "you're definitely the hottest", " you could totally do so much better, you're literally a goddess". So when they get the power to control something like this, they get a little bit of a power trip?

I sure did, I'm at work and on mobile so I just didn't realize the error. Thank you for clarifying this, I hope I never end up in a situation where I have to use this knowledge. But if I ever do I'll definitely have it now.

Ah, thanks for that. So basically in this situation, the only legal thing to do is take it. But if the chick him him, stood her ground, and continued to talk shit that would be self defense. Or do I still have it wrong?

When does it become self defense? Would she have to hit him a certain number of times, or would she have to be like more threatening? This is new to me, I'm just curious. I tried figuring out what to ask, I sort of figured out that this is kind of an "eye for an eye" situation, she punches so he punches back, and I'm guessing that's why they're both in the wrong.
