having plastic surgery isn't a con. they're not tricking you into thinking they look different. they look like that. do you also end the relationship if you find out they wear makeup?

It’s not so much the equal rights aspect that we’re concerned about… it’s the attitude changes it brings about in women. I.E acting like men. So you agree? Men hate being treated the way they treat women? :)

The venn diagram of "nice guy" passive doormats and abusers is a circle.

That is true. However, it is rare to find a person who can only get aroused/get off to anal. If there are other ways you can be satisfied sexually, that you and your partner both like, anal (or any one sex act) is a dumb hill to die on. It's unrealistic to expect your partner to have the exact same kinks as you do. Also, I'm more concerned with people who threaten to end the relationship if they don't get anal, than with the actual breakup itself. It is one thing to be like "sorry, anal is one o…

It shouldn't! This definitely applies to things other than sex.

Sorry, did you miss alllllll the other threads on this one comment trying to justify demanding anal from your partner and dumping them if they say no?

Insisting anyone should perform a sexual act with you that they don't want to do, regardless of their history, is fucked up. Period.

I have tried dating people with strong opposing beliefs from mine, and based on those experiences, I now only date people who share most of my political beliefs. I am a liberal woman.

I'm confused. You are upset that women ask questions to try and vet dates, so your solution is...to vet them first? Women are toxic because they ghost you when they lose interest, which makes you feel angry and jaded, but you literally said you walked away from one and ghosted the other once you realized they were playing mind games or whatever? What exactly is the difference?

I've actually heard the opposite, that autistic people vibe extra well with poetry/double meanings/puns etc.

TRP men will never be as happy as FDS women. Rp'ers work towards being the ideal mate, while FDS primes women not just to be selective about dating, but also to be happy without dating. People seem to enjoy pointing to the fact that "dating" is in the title of FDS, and use that as evidence that FDS's sole purpose is centered on dating. Ironically, this same pool also likes to point out the women who buy themselves engagement rings and make fun of those women. But this entirely misses something v…

My (f22) boyfriend (m24) is the most attractive person in the world to me. Based on your definition of top 20%, he is not in that bracket. He is not often told by strangers or acquaintances that he is good looking out of the blue. On the other hand, i get complimented and hit on quite frequently by people i dont know. Still, based on my most honest and objective opinion i can try to muster, i do think he is conventionally attractive. He's not 6' or taller, but he's still taller than the average …

FDS specifically offers strategies to narrow the pool of men through vetting, not enlarge it.

I agree completely that gender relations and roles are being rapidly and constantly redefined by those groups with each passing day. I also agree that Feminism doesn't offer a solid vision of what men are supposed to be or what acceptable behavior for a man looks like. I'm not even sure that's something Feminism is responsible for, or SHOULD be responsible for, even though it's true that its members are currently the primary ones rewriting the social norms. I do consider myself a feminist, and I…

"society as a whole," yeah, that's what I said, it's a problem with our culture. You literally just agreed with what I said and somehow still managed to get angry at me and accuse me of something I didn't do.

No one is saying it's as simple as waking up and making a major cultural change. What is being pointed out is that your anger is misplaced; men should be able to talk to their friends, and it is alright to be angry that you can't, but that anger always seems to somehow get directed at women, as though they are secretly pulling the strings. Major cultural change doesnt happen overnight, but the culture is the root of the problem, not selfish women.

We'll say for my response that "success" means able to get into relationships often and easily, and yes I'm only speaking of my female friends. 1) My friends are very successful in dating. All of them have had a myriad of partners, and a wide range of relationship types, from hookups to LTRs. 2) Genuinely, I don't think I have any female friends who I would consider unsuccessful. 3) Even given that I am also successful with relationships, I have felt envious at times of my friends, and I know th…
