I'm a woman who dislikes body hair on myself AND on men- but I don't remove my body hair and my SO doesn't either. Why? My school had a similar problem. I remember the girls being taken aside in 4th and 5th grade and taught about periods and puberty for hours. We learned later that the boys didn't have a similar program- they got to go outside for an extended recess. It's crazy to think that the responsibility of understanding sex and reproduction was placed entirely on the girls even at such a young age.
