Good luck and don't let the kids be the pawns for her. I hope the kids and you find yourselves in a better place. For now, don't move out until everything is legally finalized.

You can use a mediator that is supposed to fairly code you on the process and will do that legal paperwork should you divorce. That way, based on state passes, assets and child custody night be equally split.

DO NOT MOVE OUT..... You will open a whole can of worms legally if things finally go south. Love in separate rooms and figure out things.

This is the most important part. Division of Assets. Your mother needs to continue owning her home and only pass it to you after a divorce.

This! You shouldn't feel disgusted, etc. Everyone does what they can to pickup and move on. Because by that logic my ex should be disgusted that I'm in a fat better shape after divorce because I picked up going to the gym

I think #4 is what u should go with. The age gap makes me feel your likely an unwitting sugar daddy. Two months is not that big a deal and she should be able to manage. Career opportunities dwindle as you get older. Go for it, and in 2 months you'll know if she was genuinely interested and... Invested in you.

This. At this point, secure yourself financially. The kids will be, sadly, used as an emotional bargaining chip.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
