I worked with a guy once, he made probably half again as much as I did, and had to give his wife over half of his paycheck...without ever seeing his kids. I was not even 20 when he told me, and I have to admit that I don't know what happened between them as I only worked 3 months with him, but that shook me up quite a bit.
