Fair point. Sounds like I need to read that book. I think a counter argument to my claim is that the entitled girls will essentially become like incels, where they realize they would need to put in a lot of work to attract the only options in the dating market, and instead of working on themselves to attract others, they will move towards isolation and voluntarily exit the dating market.

I put all of the blame on men. IMO if men weren't so desperate for average chicks and actually had standards, the obesity/overweight epidemic in women would drop substantially. Additionally, if more males became more masculine and were 'too good' for the 60% of women who are overweight, you would see a massive shift as well.

Can you go into a little more detail into why you think the upper class is different? I'm genuinely curious. The way I see it, social status and a person's wealth dictate their class within society because when we refer to class, we are explicitly referring to someone's socio-economic status...

Not exchanging contact info is really dumb IMO. I tell girls I don't get girls numbers but they should get mine and text me. Different strategies work for different people.

To me, one of the most important aspects of rejection and failure is the OPPORTUNITY to get introspective. I capitalize opportunity because many get sad and don't improve. However, those who are self aware, have the option to find the flaws and improve. This is the position of power after failure and rejection. Failure sucks in the moment, but you sure won't grow out of being Billy Beta without it.

just boring as shit Couldn't agree more. The issue is that they're always in the seller's frame and know there are an infinite amount of buyers so why do they need to spend any energy on a guy when another guy is one swipe away.

Been struggling with my current path in life because I [27, M] have been working my ass off today to enjoy a better tomorrow. Things are set up to really take off for me ~29-31 years old. Glad to hear these words as a reminder that I'm on the right path.

They just find someone as attractive as them. Plenty high amount of beta unattractive dudes get married. They "swoop up" all the women we don't want lmao

I think it's partially why athletes in college have such a high perceived status - chicks have no clue how likely a dude is to become professional, but they all know he has a chance. They hear about some "romantic fairy tale" like this and imagine there situation will be the same.

So funny you bring up Kris Bryant. I was shocked when I saw he was getting married right as his SMV was starting to really peak. (was a college baseball player) I think this happens to a lot of baseball players because they have to go through many years in the minor leagues - playing in shit, small cities and traveling by bus and staying in hotels all for absolute shit pay ~$12k. So they stick with a girl.

I think the power of makeup really shows in environments with bad/low lighting, which coincides with the time they happen to wear the most make up - nightclubs/bars. Meeting girls at night can be really tricky and this video exemplifies why the way she looks when you meet her may be a terrible representation of how she actually looks.

With the slowly decaying 'masculinity' in our culture, I'd argue the amount of 'quality men' is decreasing which restricts the dating pool for these women. (unfortunately for us men, obesity is limiting how many attractive girls are in the dating market)

Great timing for this post, thank you. I spend countless hours working on my programming skills for, at the moment, seems like nothing. But thankfully I'm aware of what it takes to become good at a skill and I continue on. The story of the chick delivering the pizza is sad. You can apply this 'slight edge' to nearly all of our peers who aren't succeeding at anything in life. Small daily decisions that I would consider 'bad' or 'non-productive' add up.

Man this is pretty eye opening isn't it. I think we can all agree that those who find this sub and actually stick past one visit have all experienced the "wow the world isn't the way I thought it was" moment. Unfortunately, this typically occurs after years of loneliness, isolation, or backbreaking breakup.

I don't like the mindset of online dating is only for Chad's that seems to be a little too prevalent, but I absolutely agree regarding the overall theory that you won't be able to attract your smv in dating apps. Solid pictures, solid text game, and solid first date game should definitely generate lays, but certainly of lesser quality women then you can cold approach / social circle attract.

I never get this type of shit anymore and I don't think it's coincidental. I always pull under the pretense of something else (if you need examples, I'll provide some). In addition, I slow play every girl in the bedroom. I always tell them I have 3 rules: rule #1: "If you say stop, I stop." rule #2: "We only do what you want to do." rule #3: "I'm always in control (with a wink or something)." Ever since I began implementing this strategy, I have closed 100% of chicks who I pull. But I also do ha…

"Being alpha or being beta" isn't a binary thing. There are alpha behaviors and there are beta behaviors. I can guarantee that when Harvey was making decisions in his company, he was top dog in the room and everyone hung on to every one of his words. I would bet my last dollar he was in meetings puffing his chest, making the top decision, and making his voice heard - all alpha traits. Around women, it sounds like the beta behaviors were more prevalent.

I feel like that wouldn't be a fun experience to do knowing that a fat ugly chick can have more options than a well groomed man who earned his shit the hard way lolol #depressing. I hung out with a female friend of mine and watched over her shoulder as she did her bumble/tinder thing for ~15 minutes. Enlightening experience seeing it from the girl's side. Eye opening how many engaging, interested options they can get in minutes.

Yea man same. I can't figure out exactly why. I think it's just the nature of a women in her 20's in today's society. She has so many options for validation and attention. My buddy who is engaged and has been out of dating pool for quite some time told me when he was in the dating game, you hoped to find a a) girl you find attractive, b) she likes you, c) you're both looking to date, d) you're in the same area. The sad thing is this is how they want to get treated. I basically call them cheap prostitutes. For a $10 total spent out of my pocket, I can get laid. I'm not into pump and dump once so I actually make an effort to see these chicks every week or two. Then it fizzles after a few meets and they ghost. I get kinda bummed for a day but then I realize I just had commitment-less sex for like $10.

Personally, I'm not too upset about the lack of matches because I have 3-4 other more important things in life. But it baffles me how few I get. I'm talking like maybe one a week (I only swipe right on moderately cute girls or better). And I have a high lay count at 27 yrs old and consider myself to have attractive professional pictures. I can only imagine what it's like if you aren't reasonably attractive. [location: Vegas]

I haven't experienced the "unmatching" part of what you said but I definitely have the ghosting angle. I'm really glad someone in this sub reddit mentioned how tinder had a golden age because I went off it for about 2 years and when I returned noticed how many fewer matches I would get and how the experience was less enjoyable as a dude. I push for the date asap and I definitely never play the "establish a connection" game with them knowing what that entails. Even chicks who seem be the type whe…

This is a little harsh but definitely the truth. One of the more aggravating aspects of the dating apps is when you do get a chick interested, you better make sure to strike while the iron is hot. I'm sure there's some graph that displays how quickly her interest wanes if you don't land a date right away. Sadly, most chicks are really poor at scheduling so you can only do your best and hope they're still free when they say they are. The flipside is obviously dating apps can get you commitment-le…

It's easier to say that in hindsight though. TRP sticks because you don't want to go through the same experience of rejection again. If you don't have that rejection first, TRP principles may not stick. Remember, most blue pill guys probably consider themselves at least above average with the women.

This is actually a phrase used by college baseball players as well. A slump buster is when you go get laid with an unattractive chick in hopes to get out of your hitting slump.

I used to be so against the idea. But then I thought about a scenario: guy makes $200k hustling his ass off building his career, social networking and business networking, hobbies. He could spend ~$800 / month (which would be minimal) and get laid by a sexy hooker/escort at the end of every week. Then it made sense. No hassle with dating. No chasing around chicks. Always in abundance mentality even if he doesn't have time to actually go meet girls in person.

Can you expand on the "Now about 50% of those guys are sponsors in some capacity" comment. I'd like to hear some stories or insights into this. (used to sleep with a girl who has a $1k/week sugar daddy so know it exists but not to that extent).

I agree. How do you think a guy like Aziz can go about it though? Let's say she has very few assets to her name, a bunch of student debt, and a job that pays average salary. What exactly does he gain? (I'm asking because I don't know)

The ironic thing about "persistence" in this Aziz Ansari situation is that the chick was on a date and persisted throughout the night to get Aziz' number. LMAO. She got rejected at first and kept persisting.

Add in the dating apps too. Thank god some of these chicks link their instagram and have at least one non flattering pic where you see what they'd look like in broad daylight, full body. Hard no.

I felt the same way. A couple of the girls, my initial reaction was "yea she's kinda cute not sure if she'll make it". Then with all the makeup, lighting, and aura of it being a porn video, I realized she looks really attractive in the video. But off screen she was just another marginally cute girl I could run into at the local grocery store.

The actual "don't give a fuck at all" behavior is not having social media at all. By posting anything to a site, you care. That's why you spend time and energy posting. "The opposite of love is indifference, not hate." A quote I feel applies aptly here.

I found that the number serves as validation for most in the pickup community (trust me, I was absolutely there once). Then I realized how dumb it is to use some arbitrary scale. The crazy thing that resulted was I had a much higher appreciation for women as a whole when I stopped viewing them on some 10-scale.
/r/TheRedPill16/12/17 03:06 AM

Sounds like you've got a good system. Cold approaching those kinds of girls is extremely difficult. I hope to be in a position within the next few years where I can meet high-end women through friends as opposed to cold approach. Realistically, I've never approached a woman of that caliber before.

Wow that's pretty interesting. I'd imagine they don't have many guys in their life seeing if they'd be a fit for the guy - i.e. I'm sure every guy is just hoping she thinks the guy is a good fit. I've tried to implement that style in my relationships now -> seeing myself as the prize and testing her to see if she is a good fit for me. Very attractive quality for a guy to have.

Thanks so much for the response. You're the type of person I'd just sit and ask questions for like 2 hours because I know nothing about that industry but am curious for curiosity sake. I completely agree about your version of a 10. I stopped using the scale and am repulsed when dudes generally use it. "Yea man I approached this 9 the other day and got her number." If a cute girl at a bar is a 9, what is Kim Kardashian? Only one step up lol. For me a 10 is unattainable to the average man. Meaning…

I spent a few years in the pickup community and got so tired of dudes writing field reports saying they pulled a 9. I've never met a pickup dude who talked to an 8, let alone pulled a 9. For me, looks and status play into a number but either way it's too subjective for me to use any qualititative number. Just curious, what kind of money can these girls make being a model? Do all these girls make a legit living with it?

Surprisingly, a lot of baseball dudes are pretty average. Obviously a guy with his stature has access to a lot of women most average guys don't, but he's no different than you or I. source: played high level baseball and played with one of Harvey's teammates on the Mets now

This is something I've battled with for a few years now. I think the real debate is practicality versus living "wild and free". My life is great with a 9-to-5 and I have all of my needs met. I may not a live a life "as exciting" as those you see on Instagram, but practically speaking, I live a pretty great life. And to be honest, since it's well documented that we become accustomed and de-sensitized to our situations rather quickly, I'm not sure a life spent "travelling" and blogging about it wo…

Amazing post. I noticed an uptick in life satisfaction the second I left instagram. Such a terrible place psychologically for men. Don't get me wrong, it's great to see all the sexy women in bikini's and near-nudity, but the damaging effects of constantly looking at fake lifestyles don't outweigh the minimal benefits of seeing these girls. These lives are so fake too. Seeing people "have things you don't have" can be debilitating, but what makes it worse, is when you realize some of these people…
/r/TheRedPill19/04/17 11:18 PM

I liked the post, then really liked it at the end. I'm repulsed by overweight / chubby / fat women, but the worst part is that they're still getting validation from dudes. Imagine (USA) a time when our country isn't 70+% obese. That's literally 7/10 girls not even sexually attractive enough to consider dating, yet they don't care because some dude out there will date them.
/r/TheRedPill19/04/17 02:43 AM
1

I don't really think there's a fix. I think the mindset should always be - "close on the first date because there is no second chance" unfortunately this isn't something you can actually talk to girls about because they don't even know why they do this or that they do it. I realized it's a thing when I talked to a good buddy about this (he has multiple hundreds of lays) and he mentioned it happens to him as well.
/r/TheRedPill04/04/17 08:10 PM
1

Well that's not really ghosting. If you've made it clear you're moving on, there's no issue nor is it really ghosting. Ghosting is when you just disappear with no mention of why you're ignoring them.
/r/TheRedPill04/04/17 08:09 PM

Unfortunate truth is they'll need to find this community / information on their own. Most of the time it takes a killer breakup to even look for this...
/r/TheRedPill04/04/17 04:40 AM

No no no, just something simple. "I'm moving on, I enjoyed my time with you but feel it's better we go our separate ways. Best of luck in life." Something like this is 100x better than ghosting.
/r/TheRedPill04/04/17 04:37 AM
1

Interesting. I've ran into this issue many times before but only from cold approach scenarios.
/r/TheRedPill04/04/17 04:28 AM
1

I've honestly always wondered about this. This only applies to cold approach scenarios, since I've almost never ran into this issue when girls are in "dating" mode - i.e. we met on a paid/unpaid dating site or app. I've always wondered why they ghosted after the first date. Always wondered! It is so damn consistent too. And no matter how much chemistry we had on the first date (most with at least a makeout or pull without sex), they'd eventually flake.
/r/TheRedPill04/04/17 04:27 AM
0

Not going to downvote, but I think ghosting in any scenario is completely disrespectful and childish behavior. If you're sleeping with a girl and she doesn't communicate with you at all, I see no issues. But if she's trying to reach out and you're blatantly ignoring, "grow up". -- this being aimed at anyone doing this, not just you OP.

Dating is a net benefit to women (financially and emotionally). Dating is a net cost to men (financially and emotionally). I loved the way you worded this. Wow never thought about it like this before, but so true.
/r/TheRedPill28/03/17 05:29 AM
1

"happy wife, happy life" --> aka being a beta and needing permission to do things you want to do.
/r/TheRedPill24/03/17 11:36 PM
2

the problem with this behavior is he's manipulating women into paying for his meals. It's one thing to split a bill on a first date because you don't want to pay, but forcing the women to pay is behavior I hope no one in this community adheres to.
/r/TheRedPill22/03/17 03:16 AM
2

The sad truth is that this behavior exists because enough men out there allow it. As long as some beta's are biting into her bullshit, then she will continue this behavior. It's manipulation at its finest, but you can't hate on strategies that work. If we're being honest, I think a lot of us men would toe the line all the time on how much free shit we could get away with if we were women for a day/week/month/year/etc
/r/TheRedPill20/03/17 05:22 PM
5

If you're aware that the girl is just using you, I see no issue in splitting. I think most girls are cool with paying on first date, whether they admit it or not (at least my experience). It's all how the frame is handled. (fyi I don't do dinner dates for first date so not speaking in regards to that type of first date)
/r/TheRedPill20/03/17 04:53 PM
2

I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, increasing your SMV to higher-than-average standards doesn't necessarily make cold-approach any easier, it is much easier to have a great dating life. I'm fascinated when I hear girls tell me things like "you're so dominant" when I just pick places to go eat instead of ask them. The competition is so low, ESPECIALLY if you have the opportunity to meet girls who are 20-23 and haven't gone through the 3x / week nightclub lifestyle.
