At age 24 specifically it's around 10%. See the NSFG graph on your link.

At a single moment in time. Many people who are currently single were in a relationship in the past year or are casually dating/have casually dated without the relationship becoming more serious (just 'sleeping around' is very rare though).

All other sources show smaller gaps closer to 10-15%. Tired of seeing this endless debate over a stat which probably isn't even accurate. If you look into it a bit further you can see that it's caused primarily by more young women than men reporting being married or cohabiting as well, leaving little room for the narrative the person you're responding to is peddling. https://nuancepill.substack.com/p/is-the-young-male-singleness-crisis

If you actually break 'committed relationship' down, between 3/4 to all of the gap depending on the survey is caused by more women than men stating being either married or cohabiting, leaving little room for your 'soft harem de facto polygyny plate spinning chads' meme: https://nuancepill.substack.com/p/is-the-young-male-singleness-crisis Btw you realize that is the results of one survey right? Other sources don't show the same gap in singleness as you can see in the above link, and there's also…

Most young men have been single for the better part of the last 100 years and probably more: https://nuancepill.substack.com/p/is-the-young-male-singleness-crisis Not all single men were single for the whole of the past year, and not all sex occurs in relationships. In fact the manosphere believes the meme that we live in a 'hook-up culture', so I don't even know how relationship stats among young adults are that relevant. The stats don't support your 'soft harem' narrative either, as the gap be…

One of the articles you posted mentions how while mean ratings of faces are highly consistent, there's still a good deal of variance in the individual ratings. Instead, intraclass correlation coefficients (ICCs) for individual subjects may reflect what is going on better. These are consistently much lower. Further, they tend to be lower for women than for men. Hönekopp (2006) found an ICC for women at .39 and Roth et al. (2023) found female agreement at only .25 and .5 for men. When I ran a seri…

nothing about that necessarily implies sharing or a disproportionate number of women having casual sex with a small number of guys which is what is being proposed. for instance when it comes to tinder, while only 20% of millennial men have met up with someone through it, the number is the same for women if not slightly lower

actually the data disagrees as low functioning autists have lower levels of depression and lower suicide rates, probably because they're less self aware.

that's only assuming they're neurotypical which a great deal are not. many are autistic and just projecting their issues onto looks/society to cope

same with women, it's just more by choice

same with women even if it's more choice based

except the last gss survey showed an increase in sex among men and a decrease among women. the 2018 data point may be an anomaly.

sexlessnsss in women had overtaken men according to the last gss survey. the OKC meme is misleading because in terms of actual messaging trends they messaged guys rated 'below AVG' the most and men were the ones messaging the hottest girls more disproportionately. additionally, according to a speed dating study the ratings were a much closer rating AVG and bellcurve than the OKC study

except that's not what the data shows at all. it shows that a minority of both genders have the majority of the sex. it's not a monopoly.

yet the last gss survey showed more sexless women.

they can afford to because of the skewed gender ratio stemming from the fact that men are more interested in casual hookups. most men are still getting laid through relationships.

this is just a dumb meme narrative with no statistical backing behind it. the data shows a roughly equal number of both genders meet through tinder if not more men. why can you go outside and see plenty of average guys with partners? because you're coping and projecting your issues onto society.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/22 09:42 AM

why are 80% of men still getting laid then? such cope bs. dating apps and chad are just bogeymen, only a small promiscuous minority of women are even interested in casual hookups anyway. that's why tinder has an 80-20 gender ratio
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/22 09:37 AM

it should also be mentioned that it's the same with women, even if more by choice
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/22 08:56 AM

even if it's true (what is an example) all that matters is the outcomes at the end of the day and on tinder roughly an equal amount of both gender both meet and hook up through it despite the swipe and gender ratio

how does that not exist already.. unless you were talking about socioeconomic status (even then I'm not sure if that's true anymore with how women are getting more educated). are you actually going to tell me most couples you see have a markedly better looking guy? that's not what I see in the slightest. if anything it's the reverse.

well every single incel killer (Elliot Rodger, alek Minassian, Jake Davison) have been diagnosed autists. in a poll 71.5% of a large incel forum reported being on the spectrum. 45% of autistic men reported being virgins in a study with an average age in the late 30s compared to 0 NTs. 40% or so had sex less than once a month compared to 3.5% of NTs. you can figure out the rest. 16% of autistic men were currently in relationships while 85% of NT men were. there's more but I think that's enough to…

average and below guys with gfs is not an 'exception'. average and below guys with hot ones probably is though.
