Me thinks the boy can't stand successful women. After all, we're all supposed to be shopping for a better man because we can't provide stability for ourselves right? And we're all stupid sluts because we're not virgins on our wedding nights, although God forbid we hold you to that same standard. What exactly happens when a trper meets a woman who has no need for his money or his approval?

Good. Then you know that you couldn't possibly know anything about me or what I do with my life. And my God, the day I need validation from a man to be successful, just shoot me.

I can only relate to you what I've experienced. If you wish to be a fool and call me a liar, that's your problem not mine. Besides that was several years ago. I can't just abandon my business because now they want women in the oil fields. Some of us grew out of having to work for others. There's a small chance you'll know what that's like some day. Maybe.

No, I was specifically told they don't hire women to work in the field and I wasn't interested in a desk job. I live in reality just as much as you do, bub. And the reality is the world will not stop turning just because men suddenly don't exist. That's reality.

Actually I would have happily worked in the oil fields, if they would have hired me. And I don't know about a grinding halt. Sure things will slow down for awhile until we can get organized and everything up and running again. Do not underestimate what people will do when there's no other choice but to do it. I can assure you, the world would not stop indefinitely just because men all disappeared.

I'll be sure to take that as gospel. /s

Thanks. But I'm still lost as to why this ridiculously impossible scenario is being used to illustrate anything. Truly we don't know what would actually happen, it's all wild conjecture that has no purpose.

Lol. As a woman I can assure you even if we lack the ohysical strength, we will find a way. Example: I can't lift entire bundles of shingles up a ladder onto a roof, but I can certainly rig up pulleys. House still got a new roof even though it was only me doing it, no man required. In our increasingly technological world, physical strength is becoming less and less of a necessity. Even in fields like mining that you view as traditionally masculine, machines are doing most of the work. I know, I …

The whole technological infrastructure will not collapse. Humans (meaning both men and women) have a tendency to collectively organize their efforts via triage. Capitalism being a large supporter of that and all. There are enough women who currently possess that knowledge to run the infrastructure in such a weird doomsday scenario. And considering they'd only have to support half the population, it would definitely be doable. You also have to remember that just because people aren't doing specif…

Honestly, you're probably not all that important to her either. Whether you sleep with her or not isn't going to change what plans she may or may not have with your friend. So go fuck her.

I'm very confused here. Did this actually happen to you, or is this a hypothetical? Why would she care if you got a promotion? I'm pretty competitive for a female but I strongly encouraged my SO to ask for a huge raise this year, about 12%. He got it. Yeah he makes slightly more than me now, but who the fuck really cares as long as the bills are paid? Now the weight loss thing I can maybe understand. I will not date ripped guys. I don't find that attractive at all. I wouldn't leave my SO if he b…

And everyone in the hospital would die from lack of care given the percentage of women in health care.

Just don't ever marry am accountant. I set these kinds I'd schemes up all the time for my clients. I wouldn't have a hard time unraveling them either.

A woman worth marrying doesn't need to get married to stay with you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
