I wouldn't post in a men's forum otherwise, but the OP has me worried. I have a Mirena IUD. Its good for 5 years. Any man who I'm about to get intimate with can stick his fingers... well. Regardless, the Mirena IUD is the most effective birth control in the first year its implanted, even more effective than sterilization. Implanon... well, its kind of telling that it wasn't even offered as an option when I was in boot camp.
