Why do women push for marriage to later initiate 70-80% of divorces?Don't forget that women are the ones that select the mates, not the other way around. Any woman that is in nominally good shape, and semi-nice can have a pick of men in a way that few men ever have with women. Do women really not take into consideration how helpful a man is around the house, or how he treats people, or handles arguments before marrying him? I used to be more sympathetic, but now I'm just like "nobody put a gun to your head and made you marry him. You made your bed-with 9 differe… | /r/MensRights | 24/08/21 07:57 PM
Why do women push for marriage to later initiate 70-80% of divorces?I don't know about previous generations, but most women today don't even know what a man of substance even is. | /r/MensRights | 24/08/21 07:37 PM

Need Research for a Men and Masculinity ClassNot sure if you noticed but there is this theme here. The question is assuming that either men don't show emotion, are taught not to, or will be criticized if they do. This is all a false premise. Men just don't react as much as women do. Jordan Peterson says that men misinterpret when women talk about problems. He said men think they are looking for solutions. But that women talking about problems is how they process and think through solutions. My guess this carries over to women wanting to em… | /r/MensRights | 16/06/21 05:38 PM
Need Research for a Men and Masculinity ClassI'm not trying to take a dump on your questions, but I do think the questions themselves are part of a fundamental misunderstanding of men. Most men are just less reactive than women, both to negative and positive emotions. If friends see each other for the first time in a while, women will give huge hugs and scream and say it's "sooooo good to see you!!" Men smile, shake hands and say "it's good to see you". Regarding question 3, I've spent the last 15 minutes trying to think of a positive male… | /r/MensRights | 16/06/21 05:21 PM

We should view men who pump and dump and women who finesse men for money the same wayMaybe? I've found that women are incredibly poor judges of character. They don't even know what it looks like. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/10/20 12:40 AM
What elements of your sexual past could be a problem for future boyfriends?Dude, you need to watch Chasing Amy again before you get hung up on her number count. Unless you guys have some sort of arrangement, getting married generally means both partners love the other one enough to give up sex with other people for the rest of their lives. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/09/20 07:25 PM
How real is hypergamy?Da fuq? Why would a man want more than one wife? I don't. Seems like that would defeat the purpose of marriage. I don't think I know any men that would want a bunch of concubines. Is this 2020, or just 20? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/09/20 12:13 AM
Be honest: Males and females with no kids do you automatically disqualify someone if you find out they have a kid? When me and my ex girlfriend broke up, missing the kid was 100 time worse. I spent 2.5 years trying to convince this kid that I was on her side, and not trying to take the place of her father. Once things finally got good with the kid, the ex decided to break up. Now is rather be alone than go through all of that again. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/08/20 06:57 PM
Be honest: Males and females with no kids do you automatically disqualify someone if you find out they have a kid? When you are the parent it's a team effort. The kid cares if you show up to soccer games and birthdays and graduations. When you are dating a single mom, you are the water boy and equipment manager. I.e. you have to do the dirty work and get no respect. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/08/20 06:50 PM
Be honest: Males and females with no kids do you automatically disqualify someone if you find out they have a kid?No, it's different. With your own child, he/she instinctively loves you. You have a say in how they are raised. At best, with a single mom, the man she is dating is like a non-voting member of the UN. He can have an opinion, but it doesn't matter for anything. However he still has to deal with all of the consequences and drama. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/08/20 06:35 PM
Be honest: Males and females with no kids do you automatically disqualify someone if you find out they have a kid?I was that fool. Lesson learned! Odd thing is, when we broke up, I missed the kid a ton more than the woman. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/08/20 06:31 PM
Be honest: Males and females with no kids do you automatically disqualify someone if you find out they have a kid?Nope. Not anymore. You will always come in second place and last priority to the kid (which is fair and important for the kid's wellbeing). It's technically possible to have a close relationship with the kid (easier with a boy than a girl), but mostly you're just the tag along that the kid doesn't want to be there. Essentially you give love and support to the mother. But you're not her priority, and the kid doesn't want you there. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/08/20 06:11 PM

Are we moving to a situation where many men don't feel as if they have a stake in society anymore?Bidets are amazing, fyi. I had one before covid hit. When people come to my house and use the bathroom they are always "what's that thing?!?". | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/08/20 05:26 PM

Mothers and sisters and MGTOWsMother's and sisters generally don't try to use their sons or brothers as personal ATMs, trade up for a brother or son that makes more money, pick fights and then play the victim, or expect you to do manual labor for them. Side note: about the manual labor, as my parents are getting older, obviously I'm happy to help with whatever they need. I'm talking about women nagging men into remodeling their home or landscaping the backyard, where the man does almost all the work. | /r/MGTOW2 | 06/08/20 07:45 PM
Mating rituals are quite natural. OLD is no different. No, a man's time is best spent not trying to impress random women on the internet. It's normally a fruitless effort. Rarely is it worth the cost. All this effort gets spent on attracting women, who in general, just want to be pampered and have shit done for them. Yet they offer nothing in return except sex. At least that's been my experience. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/07/20 03:57 PM
What are your proposed solutions to make dating fair?Nope nope and nope. I'm in good shape, college educated, good job, damn good cook, good dresser short but groomed beard. Shaved bald head. Admittedly I suck at dancing. I camp frequently. You can't approach women anymore without being labeled "creapy". And even if you could, most women are married or have someone already. OLD is the least effort way to get a date, but it still sucks. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/07/20 11:14 PM
CMV: Women don't really want "good men"The problem is that women in general are really bad at determining who is a strong man and who is weak. And bad judges of a man's character in general. A strong man knows what he thinks and can say it politely. A strong man resists temptation and saves his money instead of spending on flashy things and vacations. I think women view strength as someone who makes good money, drives a fancy car or has a boat, and takes them on vacations. At least that's my experience. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/07/20 02:38 PM
