And if they want to be a part of their child's life... well if you weren't married then the court doesn't even give you the time of day. Shit even if you're married you're lucky to get every other weekend. Those decisions fall into the mother's hands 99% of the time. Even if the mother is an ex-convict, jobless, carless, or even homeless (living with parent) and the father has a stable career, home, and no criminal record or indication he'd be a bad father. Men don't have to participate in their child's life. Then there's the fact that a lot of men want to and women won't let them. I was speaking more on the lines that men have no say when it comes to terminating pregnancy. Women can terminate pregnancy even if the man wants to keep the child and men can't do anything when a woman wants to keep a child and he doesn't.
