For REAL, GOOD workout tips go to /r/fitness TL;DR: Abdominal crunches and similar exercises have very small influence on average, non-training person's ABS. If you don't lose body fat through diet and cardio, your ABS won't be visible. Training only one muscle group is a bad idea.
