In my experience, I take a lot of language cues. How do you talk about yourself? When you talk about how I look compared to you, do you put yourself down? Another important hint comes from you talking about your life. I love a guy who talks up his passions (especially when he wants to share them) but not a guy who talks about things he wants to change about his life (because why aren't you doing those things instead of whining to me?) I like interacting with guys who feel like they deserve to ta…

As a female, I definitely love to see this. I hate to go on dates where there's just no physical component at all-- like, was that a date, or are we just chilling? Because if I ever want a relationship, I want to know we work physically. It's super awkward if a guy keeps his distance. Sure, I don't want to sleep with you on the first date, but kiss, flirt? Hell yeah.

"Hey, you're a lot of fun, do you wanna make this exclusive?" Very direct and shouldn't be awkward if you're a number of dates in.

I think what he's getting at is, if that's your opinion, aren't you lacking a little self respect for putting out to the girls who'd want you in the first 20 minutes? Or are you saying you turn them down because you find them too needy? Because "too desperate" has been a natural turn-off for ages. But if you're also sleeping with a girl you've barely gotten to know and you think it's fine for you and not for them, you've got to reevaluate that double standard. If "putting out too soon" doesn't m…

Cold feet. A girl knows what you're thinking about when you've asked her to hang out. She's thinking about what happens if this doesn't go well. She's indecisive if she wants to put herself in a position to hook up tonight. She's making sure she has outs. Sometimes this results in her flaking instead of going through and meeting you. And she's embarrassed that she cancelled and can't bring herself to tell you that you scared her off, but she knows she won't try to hang out with you again, so she…

I wish I could be a dude, but that's mostly because having a penis sounds fun. Most chicks prefer to be on the male side of dating/sex because 1) the world encourages you to be sexual 2) the birth control/pregnancy burden is on the female. This ignores that men get the shit end in 1)finding women 2)family/sexual crimes law, but seeing as one party can't know how the other feels about these burdens, it's easy to see why you might want to be the other.

Speaking as a female of the species, that is ~90% of what the modern female worries about when she commits to having sex with you. I think if you look at it with intelligent concern, be mindful and vocal of the BC, she'll really respect you for it. You might not want to give it up to a casual encounter if you're worried about this sort of thing-- there's nothing wrong with having a discussion about 'what we would do IF' with a partner, but it's way easier and less awkward with a LTR. Will you ac…

Have you considered that you aren't doing the right things on dates? If the date activity has you bored, maybe it's time to take a girl out and do what you like. Find someone who wants to go out and hit some paintball before you do dinner so you have something to talk about. Find someone who wants to come over to your place and play League with you instead of watching a movie. If you find a girl you have fun with, you'll be more interested in the other time you spend together, and probably more …

as a female I can guarantee the girl said some nasty shit to her girlfriends over ice cream to get over you faster. It's some immature shit, but it's high school 101 during a breakup to insinuate the man in question was shit of the stankest quality. As her friends, they likely had to be there feeding (or at least reinforcing) this rhetoric. And it's bad news to date a friend's ex anywhere close to after the breakup. Seriously though, why are you going after the underclassmen? Are there no girls …

College is a strange and magical time! The fact that he didn't want to pursue a relationship was no hindrance to a horny young me. After all, I wouldn't have asked him out in the first place if he didn't seem like somebody I'd like to get down with. I couldn't tell you why he was down for some NSA fun and not actually dating me, since we were okay friends anyway, but we got chatting over one of those anonymous-not-anonymous springpad things and chat got sexual and we totally-not-subtly hinted we…

Sometimes it fizzles. I'll give an example, as a female, I've had a similar sort of chemistry meltdown. Meet guy, guy's pretty cute. Engineer (we both are) good school (where we're at) pretty funny too. We chill a little, I ask him on a date. We do something pretty not spectacular, and he's like "meh I don't think we should date". Whatever. Hurts, but I hadn't known him that long. Couple weeks in we get chatty and think that hey it might not be too bad to get physical in our spare time. We have …

As a female, I call dudes I'd like to hump "cute". It's a damn good thing to be cute, and it could be a regional language thing if you find that's not what it means in your area. Cute is how I describe a guy as attractive. Tight pecs, ripped arms, a glorious butt? Super cute. Looks like he could pick me up over his shoulder, carry me into the woods by some picturesque lake, and show me what it is to be a woman? Amazingly cute. So don't go thinking cute female = cute male. Totally different when …

When you want something like this, you're better off picking girls up from a polyamory community, not randomly in life. But seriously, it sounds like you're looking for unicorns.

Assuming you aren't cancelling last minute (if she doesn't have the time to make new plans with her friends, she'll have a whole evening to think you're a dick) the best plan is to HAVE a plan. "Gee, sorry we can't chill tomorrow, but I'd really like you to come over and watch this movie/take you out to this great place/whatever same time next week?" Most weeks are the same as others so it's a good shot she's free again, or she might suggest an earlier time if she's eager or that doesn't work. G…
