Women are portrayed as incapable of abuse. Demonstrating that taking the man out of the equation actually increases total abuse shows that men are not the problem as portrayed. Anything to wake people up really

Not really. I'm not trying to argue with an idiot who is refusing to acknowledge the validity of my separate concern. And also seeing if I can get you to rant again like a fool

Does being an infectious abcess of a human being actually work for you?

For someone so haughtily superior, you sure can't read my 2 line thing. I said nothing about a picture. The issue at hand is if the mother is pressing for child support for a child that has been grown for several year.

The mother is important if she is the one demanding the money for a grown child, jackass, which was never clearly stated.

This is impressively misinformed and stupid. Bravo. In an age of limitless access to knowledge you press on with your ignorance.

Unless it's changed, men get one day unless they are married to the mother. Then you get 10 days.

Am I the only one that finds the whole article useless the moment she brings up the wage gap like it exists?

I just got out of the air force so it might have been different for you, but you should have made her file the complaint. She has to prove you were being unfair and they would have interviewed everyone around you two to figure out what happened. The backlash against her for a false report is just as devastating. If your LPO had any spine he should have backed you up

Any female that could pass would likely already be pursuing a career in professional athletics or Olympics , as that is the level of extreme fitness required to pass the standards

If it's 50/50 parenting there should be no child support no matter what the income disparity might be. I've always thought that except in rare cases, if you need child support to maintain custody, then you shouldn't have custody because y I u can't take care of the kids

Its not just that, men died sooner almost universally, and they were expected to establish their own family independent of their fathers, however, if something happened to him, the wife would return to her family for care and protection, but not the other way around.

Damn, if she needs that much for child support, then she shouldnt be in charge of the children

How about we just quit with the affirmative action altogether. As far as admissions is concerned, race, gender, hair color, all that stuff is unimportant when determining if you are the best and brightest pupil. I say they don't even ask on the application. you can figure that out when you accept admission.

"one third of the official labour force; perform nearly two-thirds of work hours" this statistic alone should tell you its all bullshit. that would require every single women to average twice as many hours as every single man...except its been proven that men work longer hours....

There wouldnt just be fewer women, there would be almost no women. Military here, and I used to administer the PT tests for my unit. I would say that maybe, maybe 1 in 10 women could meet the bare minimum passing standards for men. And those women that could were almost universally tiny which is why they could run fast enough and do enough push ups, but having had this argument with people before we did a simple demonstration to shut people up. Im 6 foot and 215 pounds. I told the girls in my un…

NO Jackass, my arguement is that women dont get paid less for the same job because the wage gap is a giant myth. If they got paid less for the same job, no sane company would hire anything but women. They dont just spend all the money they make, they spend most of the money men make too. When they adjust to compare things that are equal, for example, 25-30 year olds who are single with no kids and never been married, women make more, so maybe we need to start a campaign against the wage gap, and…

really? i used quick fuzzy math based on the 77% number to say they make 40% of all money. Not accurate i know but close enough for my purposes. I dont care about individual cases, you can find the exception to every rule, so yes we are ignoring those cases. How are you seriously missing the point. Earning that money does you no good if you dont get to spend any of it. At that point you are little better than a house slave. This statistic just proves that men may make more money, but they dont g…

Seriously? If you are doing 80% of the spending but only earning 40% of the money, that means you are spending all your own money, plus a significant chunk of other peoples money. You dont see how that would be more relevent in the long run?

Don't forget who spends more doing the during the courtship process. I would love to see a breakout of who spends more during dating.

I have, frequently actually. The issue is less how much sex you have as how much you brag about it. If you can nail every chick that moves and never talk about it you will be left alone.

If all you did was switch the genders completely this would come off as an insanely bigotted article...oh wait, it still does left in tact. This woman clearly doesnt like men. And the light bulb story wanted to make me throw my monitor off my desk. How tough would it be to change a damn lightbulb? You are the one that is hitting your shin, you are "empowered" fix the damn thing, cuz guess what, if you think the gender roles are switched but still 1950s style, then you as the breadwinner would be…

Yeah I did see that but if you go even further down to number 10 or 11 you see that it switches tone again. either way it would be worth looking into. Also, is there any way to argue that she became "disabled" after you split and not related to your marriage? That might help as well. Just throwing ideas out there and seeing if they stick
/r/MensRights18/09/12 04:57 PM

That is actually not true, this was mentioned previously somewhere, and I don't remember the specific law, but it states very specifically that under no circumstances can disability pay be used for anything other than the well being of the member. I am going to look it up now. Edit: found this http://www.nclamp.gov/l_va%20disability.pdf #4 especially applies in this case Edit: reading it further is confusing because it seems to contradict itself but it gives you a statute that your lawyer can lo…

If you are worried about that, graduate, get your diploma so they can't take it away, and then go back and report the teacher. Don't leave it broken for others to fix, pay it forward to men that will follow you. Edit: Saw further down you are pre-med...that makes things more difficult, but at least we are going to have a level headed doctor

It has nothing to do with belittling people who can't speak english, or belittling anybody for that matter. they do this in every country. You will simply identify better with people that are the most like you, and will naturally care more about that. Its not something trained into you, its not racist, or sexist, or any of that. Its just human nature. Own it and move on. And the reason they give next to no details is that the vast majority of people just do not, and really can't possibly care. T…

This at least is explained by nationality and that makes sense. It narrows the story down to the domestic aspect of it in an attempt to make it more relatable to you the listener

I get that my reaction is simplistic and relatively knee jerk, but the overall point is valid. Men get a say in reproductive rights simply because having that baby means our blood, sweat, and tears are legally committed to that child for 18 years. If you are willing to sign away said blood, sweat, and tears, then it becomes fair for us to have zero say.

New one for you...did I have a say in this specific instance of reproduction? Yes-congratulations you get to utilize my resources to raise this child No-fuck you, if i didnt get a say, you dont get my support

Fine, you are right, who needs men...now stop using anything and everything ever produced by a man, and use only the technology created by women, and then you get back to me.

The security of knowing that I am physically capable of handling most challenges thrown at me, be it lifting heavy things, reaching the top shelf of the cupboard, or even protecting myself and wife from physical assault. Even as simple as knowing my physical presence can make my wife feel safer.

if they can't agree whose name she takes the only fair thing is for the daughter to take both. She can choose which she prefers when she is older
