Someone at my work does this. They laugh very loudly all the time whenever they are nervous or are faking their feelings and it's very obvious. The whole office knows. It does not make you look more powerful, it makes you look weak and like you are a loose cannon about to blow.

The $14 grill can still make panini. Honestly, if you have a rice cooker already you can forget the waffles and make protein pancake-cake. Just make a whole batch of protein pancake batter (any regular recipe + the number of servings in scoops of whey/protein powder), pour it into the rice cooker, turn it on, and let it do its thing for about 40-60 minutes. Laid back can be totally different than casual body language IMO. If these girls are asking the same question it either means your not doing something very well or you seem like you're abnormally nervous/excited in a way that indicates a lack of experience. I really wouldn't get hung up on it too much, just keep up what your doing well and focus on the areas where things are getting weird.

When you're in these situations be yourself but make sure these girls are comfortable too so they don't have any doubts. It's not that the mindset is that all girls cheat it's that X behavior tends to lead to Y outcome. It's just examples so people can be wary.
