Critics can have impacts on the medium they critique. That makes them "important" in the world of that medium. If her critiques have had a bigger impact than the work of those below her, she's important. Seeing all this "feminism sucks" bullshit is getting old. This sub is supposed to be about equality.

One person makes one post here. That person happens to be a mod on /r/feminisms(among many other subs), and you instantly assume that it's a TROLL ATTACK? How's that persecution complex working out?

I never said they did. I have trouble thinking of radfem trolls as a part of this subreddit, though. The blatantly misogynist people are much easier to see as part of this sub.

The assholes on this subreddit happen to be anti-feminist assholes.

I'd like to think that most people here are feminists. It's just that the loudmouth assholes get most of the attention.

How is that "good"? We aren't fighting feminists. They have legitimate issues just like we do. We're two sides of the same coin, not two armies battling for dominance.

We can't help their recruitment rates. There's already talk about what this means for selective service if that counts for anything.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

Here is an article about the physical standards. In fact, it's a better article all around.

I heard on the news that women would have to meet the same fitness standards. I'll see if I can't find it online.

There are quite a few if you keep digging.

Can we please stop the "I need feminism because" posts? This is supposed to be about men's rights issues. Take this crap to /r/antifeminism or something like that.

People can be assholes? I had no idea!

What you're talking about was a blog from somebody without any lawmaking authority in Sweden.

Just going to save everybody the trouble. The offending posts have been deleted. I'm not sure how reliable HeinigerNZ's account is, but it's all we have to go on, it seems.

This is one of the cases where I stop being "pro-choice" and become "pro-abortion." If you are a rapist, you should not be allowed to give birth to your rape-baby and shackle your victim and society at large with them.

The problem is that, rather than give advice if you are falsely accused, the guide assumes that everybody accused of sexual assault is guilty.

I'm almost certain that this is sarcasm. The exaggeration in the statement should be a dead giveaway.

I'm willing to bet that a lot of gay couples are going to be getting married before they're ready so that they can be part of this new law.(straight people would do the same) This should create a lot of divorces to lay down some nice legal precedent.

They'll say that females are better at raising children, thus preventing logical spillover.(actually, IIRC that's why we're in this situation in the first place)

Absolutely, I've already been considering a vasectomy for the same reason.(I hate kids, this isn't going to change any time soon, why take the risk?)

Your wife thinks you're a potential date-rapist? What the fuck?

Also you should be allowed to take your sick days without being sick. People without disabilities should get disability pay and you should get a settlement from OSHA even if your workplace is safer than your own home.

You need to become a member of the forums in more ways than just creating an account. Make them feel like you're "one of them." This will make them see your post as a legitimate opinion instead of just what some "outsider" thinks. This is standard procedure for trolls because it works. If you just show up on a forum and post something controversial, people will assume you just want to get a rise out of them so you need to get on their good side first.
