Who grew up in a RedPill household? For me I grew up in probably the opposite of a red pill household. And I think I've always desired the stability it provides me, which definitely wasn't there when I was a child. Interesting question :-) | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/05/16 03:13 AM
Man Friendly Beauty: Makeup Dos and Don'tsLove this post... Can I just add Nars Tinted Moisturiser as a favourite for natural looking skin, it literally airbrushes your skin while still letting your natural glow shine through. Its expensive, but it lasts for ages and there is 50mL in the tube rather than the 30mL in most foundations. Also Anastasia Brow Wiz for defining and filling in brows naturally. It's a cult favourite for a reason, it looks really natural for a pencil, so you can get that defined look without the power brow problem… | /r/RedPillWives | 25/04/16 03:14 AM
How do you ladies stay slim, what are your tips for self-discipline and weight loss...Definitely not hungry, i think boredom and tiredness are probably the reasons. I usually cravy savoury carbs more than sweet but my body doesn't tolerate any refined carbs well so i shouldn't be eating any of that crap. I just have very little self discipline, which I know is terrible. | /r/RedPillWomen | 22/03/16 11:21 AM
How do you ladies stay slim, what are your tips for self-discipline and weight loss...Thank you so much for the kind offer. I'm pretty good with my set meals breakfast lunch and dinner, my main problem is that I snack in between meals and always go for the carby sugary instant energy fix, which adds up a lot when you do it every day. Do you have any healthy snack ideas or recipes? | /r/RedPillWomen | 22/03/16 10:17 AM
How do you ladies stay slim, what are your tips for self-discipline and weight loss...Thank you, I'm definitely keen to check out those apps as I haven't used either. I exercise regularly but I think my main problem is portion sizes and eating for emotional reasons, so planning could be very helpful. Thanks again :-) | /r/RedPillWomen | 22/03/16 09:56 AM
Weekly Self-Reflection Thread: 03/14/2016Good: Biting my tongue a lot more efficiently when it comes to disagreeing with my husband for no reason Had an enjoyable long weekend away with my husband and kids without any fighting or blow ups (a big improvement on our last holiday) Bad: Need to get back to the gym after far too many days vegging out and making excuses Need to get back on my low carb, low sugar eating so that I feel happy and energetic again Need to get cracking on a few self help books I want to download to start bettering… | /r/RedPillWomen | 16/03/16 05:23 AM
Many of our relationship problems have been solved by having separate bedrooms. My husband and I mix it up with sleeping together or separately too, I generally go to bed earlier than he does and we both get a better nights sleep apart, but sometimes we feel extra snuggly so sleeping together is preferred. I think it depends on the couple and as long as it has no impact on your intimacy or sex life then its really personal preference. I definitely find it annoying that a lot of people see it as a signal of a failing marriage. My relationship is better than it has ever been … | /r/RedPillWomen | 16/03/16 05:13 AM
Ladies, how would you deal with your man's lack of passion?I agree with this ^ bad traits are usually pretty ingrained by 25. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/09/15 09:37 PM
Ladies, how would you deal with your man's lack of passion? You just got insight and instead of taking it on board you're justifying your situation. Why bother asking for help? As you said, you can't find everything in one partner, so if you're not going to next him, accept his laziness and move on. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/09/15 09:36 PM
What are your hobbies? What are some hobbies you'd like to do?Sorry I'm so late to the party!! So interesting reading everyone's hobbies, I am looking for some new ones to pick up when I finish my psych degree next month (yayyyyy!!). My current hobbies are dog training and walking, I have a 10 month old Alaskan Malamute, it takes a lot of time and effort to keep her trained and entertained so I consider it a hobby (plus good exercise for me). I also take a lot of pleasure in being an organisational junkie, making plans and lists, so thats a bit of a hobby … | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/09/15 04:05 AM
UPDATE: Am I making a mountain out of a molehill and overreacting to my bf helping out his mentally unstable ex?Oooh, I don't think you should write a letter. I think just exit quietly and don't give him a chance to put you in a bad light. Writing him a letter with a full analysis gives him more ammo, and might end up making you look like a crazy person. I vote for just walk the hell out, with your head held high, dignity in tact and leave him and his ex to their miserable games. | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/09/15 07:25 PM
UPDATE: Am I making a mountain out of a molehill and overreacting to my bf helping out his mentally unstable ex?I kinda feel like you're making excuses for his behaviour. In my opinion we teach our partner how to treat us early in the relationship. His defence mechanism to you bringing up your issues with his behaviour seems to be spinning the conversation on to you, making it your fault. This way you end up feeling guilty and backing down from the argumet. Allowing him to continue the behaviour that makes you uncomfortable. If this cycle happens enough times you'll become too scared to bring your issues … | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/09/15 11:59 PM

[Poll] Ladies of RPW: 3 questions for you on Kids, Living Together, and Marriage28 (for a couple more weeks), hubs is 29, We've been married for 2 years, together for 10. 2 Daughters together (7 & 3). 1) Do you want to be married to you SO and how important is it to you? Would you accept not being married, but otherwise in a committed LTR with the 'right' man? I didn't used to care about marriage, I thought it was nothing but a peice of paper. No surprise my parents were never married and had the same ideas (they seperated when I was 12). Hubs wanted to get married, his par… | /r/RedPillWomen | 16/09/15 03:03 AM
Are there any books, kitchen tools, articles of clothing, etc. that you've recently purchased that you would highly recommend to other RPW?Yay, this is what I was going to suggest! A good quality winter coat is timeless and stylish. And for me personally, I prefer to blow my $$ on clothes. | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/09/15 08:05 AM
Vegan ladies, I need some advice for my non-vegan husband.I still feel kinda like you're prioritising your dietary preferences over his, but thats me. When I cook meals for my vegetarian extended family and my immediate meat eating family, I do what you've suggested with the bhindi gosht 90% of the time. Once a month feasible to me personally sounds a bit selfish. But... having said that it does sound like you and your hubby are on the same page, so I'll leave you to it and honestly wish you the best. | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/09/15 08:02 AM
Vegan ladies, I need some advice for my non-vegan husband.I understand that, but you can mull something over and still be gracious for the time everyone has taken to respond to you. | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/09/15 11:05 PM
Vegan ladies, I need some advice for my non-vegan husband.Does anyone else get frustrated when the OP doesn't respond to all the advice they've been offered? Be thankful that people have taken the time to address your issues. | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/09/15 10:52 PM

Man Flu...Thank-you. That makes complete sense, and I certainly appreciate that you can see that I meant no malice in my question. I love men, especially my husband and would never intentionally say anything harmful. I am for sure a profuct of the environment I was raised in and am definitely ready to change my ways. Thanks again, taking this advice on board whole-heartedly :-) | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/09/15 12:26 AM
Man Flu...Thanks for the comment. Yeah I'm ready to admit I was being a bit of a bitch on this one. You're right, cheers :) | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/09/15 02:17 AM
Age differencesMy husband and I are the same age 10 months of the year (right now I'm the younger woman as he's 29 and I'm 28 for another month). I am happy with our lack of age gap especially since we've been together since we were teens. I feel like being the same age means we have really grown up together and learnt to navigate life together. This is a big pro for me. We were also both 21 when we had our first daughter so we've both been able to keep up with the kids together and there was never any reprodu… | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/09/15 01:25 AM
I Don't Want to Be DominantHave you started reading "The Surrendered Wife" yet? I think that may be a good starting place for you. I'm new here too and I found myself having a lot of a-ha moments reading the book. It got me on the right track to take responsibility for my part in my relationship issues. I think that is the single biggest problem women face when it comes to relationships, blaming everything on their partner and not taking enough responsibility for their role in the issues. I am still learning and still mak… | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/09/15 11:30 PM
Man Flu...Thank-you for your reply. That definitely puts things into perspective. I hope your husband recovers from his eye infection and injuries soon!! | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/09/15 10:13 PM

Man Flu...Thank you for this, really appreciate the support, and you're absolutely right. I'm definitely feeling a bit silly for posting this but all the advice has kicked me back into line :-) | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/09/15 09:39 PM
Man Flu...Cool your jets mate, pretty sure you can tell from my post that I am trying to change my attitude and be a more understanding wife. This comment is unhelpful. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/09/15 09:29 PM
Man Flu...Thank you for responding, yes absolutely, since posting this I've definitely stepped up to the plate and stopped feeling sorry for myself. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/09/15 09:24 PM

Man Flu...Thank you so much for the male insight. You're absolutely right, I am only a recent RPW convert after being raised feminist so I apologise for using shaming terminology, still getting my head around it. I will absolutely take your advice, I think he will be very appreciative of me looking at things from a different perspective. Thank you for taking the time to write such a well thought out reply. All of the advice I am getting is invaluable :-) | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/09/15 12:21 AM
Man Flu...Wow, I love that story. You're so right, thank you :) | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/09/15 12:16 AM
Man Flu...Thank you so much for this. I like the idea of putting on some girly shows to distract myself :-) The preparation idea is genius too, thank you! | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/15 11:46 PM
Man Flu...Thank you so much for this... you're absolutely right. I love the engine analogy, and everything you've said rings true :-) Definitely going to let the man take his sick day, and see what he needs. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/15 11:18 PM
Man Flu...Thank you :-) I think that is some good advice. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/15 11:10 PM
Man Flu...Thank you, yes you're right. I think I just needed to hear these reminders so that I would realise my resentment was unfounded and stupid. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/15 11:04 PM
Man Flu...Thank you for your reply. This makes a lot of sense and he does take pretty good care of us the rest of the time, I will definitely take this advice :-) I will also take on board my use of language, I was definitely having a dilemma on how to ask this without sounding like a bitch. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/15 11:00 PM
Feminine, Flattering, and Comfortable SleepwearNot sure what country you're in? I love Deshabille in Australia for cute, pretty, girly sleepwear. Also if you are in Australia (sorry if you're not) Myer sells a gorgeous brand called Chloe and Lola. They sell lingerie and sleepwear. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/15 10:54 PM
Man Flu...Not really, I might pick up a small job like taking out the rubbish, but the big things I just leave (e.g. Getting him out of bed for work - he'll stay in bed a lot longer than he should, cleaning up outside...) | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/15 10:51 PM
Proud of myselfGood work, I'm on a similar path right now too and there is definitely a lot to be taken in. I'm not sure of many blogs but a really good website for recipes is http://www.taste.com.au/. It's the website for an Aussie food mag, but they have a search engine with a ton of great recipes. If you select the advanced search engine you can search for gluten free and low carb recipes :-) I also second pinterest for recipes, its so convenient to save recipes into folders from your phone. | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/09/15 09:17 PM
How to be something to a man who has everythingTheres always going to be people who are prettier than us, and better cooks, cleaners etc... He's dating you so thats a good start. My suggestion is to be what he needs in one package because outsourcing to multiple people might be a pain in the bum. Give him great sex, feed him (even if its bringing him a little treat here or there), look good for him and bring a positive attitude to your relationship. These are the things my husband notices and appreciates. Sure he could outsource all those jo… | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/09/15 04:21 AM
Really like this guy but feel obligated to do things I don't want toHello :-) One of my best friends is extremely RPW naturally and she is very classy/sophisticated. My friendship group used to be very much how you described your partners group. My best friend would come to our extremely messy, alcohol fueled parties and socialise while maintaining her no drinking, classy persona. Thankfully I am more like her these days but I remember back in the day I always wished I could be less of a party animal and more like that. Perhaps his friends will see you as a brea… | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/09/15 04:11 AM

Official Welcome Thread for New Members + A Few RemindersHi Ladies, Sorry I'm so late to the thread, just checked in on RPW and thought this would be the perfect place to say hi :-) I'm new here, I have been reading and soaking in every thread for the last month. I really love the principles of the RPW lifestyle so I am really excited to have found you ladies. My relationship status is married. I have been with my man since we were 18 (we're 28 and 29 now). We have 2 beautiful daughters together plus a dog and two cats. We haven't had the easiest run … | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/08/15 10:44 AM
How much makeup do you wear? How much makeup does your SO prefer you to wear?I'm obsessed with makeup so I like to play around with it a lot and usually end up with a fairly done up face. I usually start my day with a light makeup look for school drop off (just BB cream, mascara, brows and lipgloss). And then during the day I'll go in for a touch up which usually results in a full makeup look. Pretty sure my hubs appreciates how I look even with a little bit of makeup... I have a really uneven skin tone and redness. He also likes it when I wear eyeliner and mascara becau… | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/08/15 12:01 AM
What does your BEAUTY routine look like?Morning (Pre-School Drop Off) * Roll out of bed and work out (Usually a fitnessblender routine from youtube) * Shower (Washing hair 3x a week, Alternating John Frieda Blonde Shampoo and Cond, and Fudge Purple Shampoo for toning my hair) * Cleanse, Toning Mist and Moisturise (currently using Sukin products) * SPF 50 on face and hands * Light Make-up (Usually just a BB cream, Lipgloss, Mascara and Run a brow pencil through brows) * Blow dry hair and throw into a bun *Brush Teeth Afternoon (Pre-Sch… | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/08/15 11:56 PM
RPW MusicI like to have playlists for different things, but I agree it all comes down to personal taste, mine is as follows: Working Out: Metal, Electro and Rock. Driving: Anything I can sing really loud to. Preparing for sexytimes or trying to look hot: R&B (Justin Timberlake, Beyonce or anything along those lines). Cleaning: Anything I can dance to that will distract me from the task at hand. PMS: I have a sad playlist for when I'm feeling emotional so I can have a good cry rather than unleashing my em… | /r/RedPillWomen | 18/08/15 10:56 PM
