To be fair, men don't care and respect what women do to make themselves attractive to men. Most men deride female activities like hair, make up, tan and diets as frivolous or about 'baiting' men. Yes these things may be less difficult than what men do to become attractive. But my point is men don't respect what women do to make themselves attractive as well.

I think about this constantly. Who knows what the future will bring? It seems grim

How are these young women meeting these older men? I'm in my early 20s and there are no environments where I live where young women and older men congregate and socialise. Older men tend to be married and with kids.

Women would be better, as it would be likely men would hold women to the same high standards women hold men.

I’m sorry you went through, and I understand how you came to those conclusions about women. This is what I’m getting - you have had experiences with women that match up with Donovan Sharpes experience with women, and this is an experience many men have had. BUT not at all men have had these experiences. I know lots of women that wouldn’t act like this, and even if I didn’t, it’s statistically unlikely no women would act differently from how you described. Sorry for the rant, but this is my issue…

You need to talk to him about this. What he's doing is abusive behaviour. One thing is being assertive and taking the lead, and another thing is monitoring your calls and controlling your life. It doesn't sound healthy at all. I've heard some of Donovan Sharpe, and he has a very dim opinion of women. Sharpe could be warping your boyfriends mind. Could we hear more about your boyfriend, like how did come across these podcasts? I'm sorry you're going through this!

I don’t really understand the hate coming from this guy. He’s found out women have sex drives that favour attractive men? Just like men have sex drives that favour attractive women? I agree things were better in the past, most people can’t control their sexual urges, and social norms around sexual morality are needed. But really, figuring out women aren’t angels, they’re humans just like men has made him into a misogynist? Pretty sad.

Why would men mentor women in this climate? Its like feminists (and maybe women) see men as servants to women.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
