Upvoting because markmanson.net is a goldmine for information. Oh and Mark Manson wrote some book on seduction.

It's supposed to happen. Get used to it. Better yet, don't waste your time on women you don't get boners over during your first interaction. It's okay to think with your dick.

I didn't know about /r/dating_advice, which /u/NickNotas moderates. He links a lot to markmanson.net too.

/r/socialskills exists. One of the links on that sub is Dating 101, written by none other than /u/NickNotas or /u/NickTDS, who posts in Seddit. How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie is recommended by many other self-help and social skill related sub-reddits, and it's recommended heavily here too. I find that outsiders don't understand that the PUA community is focusing a lot more on self help and self improvement than they were a few years ago. Many still think it's just a bun…

Be outcome independent, touch her as much as possible, lead the interaction, make statements and avoid interview mode, and be spontaneous, uninhibited, and fun.

My brother asked her name, and she readily said it, however, she never asked either of our names, Consider this an IOD. Move on.

You treat them as though they want you, because those do. In Manson's words (Ch. 3): ...they require the least amount of effort. You escalate. You make a move. You move things forward. Assuming you want to, of course.

"How to Win Friends" by Carnegie will be recommended by just about everyone. That book is full of the advice you're looking for.

I want to pick out one thing in particular. I recall Mystery talking about Approach Signals. He described one in particular that I have seen but I never quite understood. He said that a woman will unconsciously signal her receptiveness to approach if she is standing near the edge of a group of women, but has her body facing 90 degrees away from the center of the set. He also said that these women giving signals will usually turn their back towards you, and that this particularly signals their re…

That was like reading some sort of "50 Shades of Grey" stories for males.

Actually, awhile back Will Smith, Kevin James, and Eva Mendez were in a movie that addresses some of these issues. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0386588/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
