I laughed out so loud my neighbours probably heard me.

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same I have these two lines written on a small piece of paper which I keep in a transparent pocket in my wallet, so that I get reminded every time I open it to maintain a stoic mindset.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

How come you're doing 5x5 on deadlifts? Usually the recommendation is to work up to one max set of 1-5RM, or do a few sets of heavy singles. 5x5 on deadlifts is generally very taxing on your central nervous system and thus discouraged.

If your have good and trustworthy male friends, then displaying some degree of vulnerability toward them is fine, as a side effect of having a purposeful conversation. That is, you don't display vulnerability for the purpose of gaining sympathy and being a whiny bitch, but rather it's a side effect of wanting honest advice on how to, for instance, improve some undesirable situation you're currently in. It is healthy for a man to be able to talk freely, in straight talk, with another man. Just do…

Reading without taking action gives you a false sense of accomplishment. Just look at a lot of of the self-proclaimed personal development people out there; most of them read tons of book yet do not really apply it, apart from writing and telling others about it.

Great comment, you bring up important points about how individual factors affect appearance. To add to your last paragraph, thickening your neck by working it out will definitely also make a difference in how you're perceived (Athlean-X has a great video on it). I'll also add that you should be doing more pulling movements than pushing movements as it will force your shoulders back and give you better posture.

To add to this, don't be afraid of bulking up a little. Being lean (which I'd consider sub 11-12% body fat) sure makes a difference when the shirt is off, but if you're natty and low body fat you'll just look like any normal dude in a shirt. (Exception: you've trained for a long time and are getting near lean muscle natty limit and are at low body fat). Point is, worry more about building muscle and looking buff than on getting lean if you want people to mire you with clothes on. It's alright be…

Read the comments as well, they just further prove what's going on. OP says, for instance, that "the new guy was such a natural". The funniest part is the commenters fooling her and themselves into believing OP's beta husband can please her if she only "talks to him". A top comment: Talk to your husband and incorporate some of the same activities that you found mindblowing with the new guy, into your sex life with your husband. There's no reason why your husband can't touch your clit during dogg…

Read the sidebar. AWALT is introduced in the third link of the sidebar. And tell all your friend whom you probably invited here to also read the sidebar.

You've already said most of what I wanted to say, but I feel like expanding a little on the idea. This exactly is something I've been thinking about for a while now. As you say, human beings in general want to simplify complex concepts, and prefer absolutes to ambiguities, dichotomies to in-between-answers; that's just a way of preserving mental energy. We don't like cognitive dissonance, i.e. having been presented with several conflicting ideas without being able to arrive at a reasonable resol…

I said that because she doesn't pull shit like this ever is the reason she's my woman Be careful with that mindset. Remember that AWALT. But seriously, go through the sidebar. The Rational Male has tons of good content.

Your mistake was giving her irrational feeling any attention at all. Never argue logically with a woman. If a kid had said the same, would you have started an argument and tried to debunk her feelings with science? No, you would have laughed it off and then moved on to something else. You sound like a troll however. Now I am fuming like fuck and I have a writer's block that's stopping me from absolutely destroying this woman. cunt Why do you keep her as your girlfriend if this is how you feel ab…

This is something a lot of bitter guys on here don't understand. Girls doing what they do (what you just described) is simply what any person in the same shoes would do. It's business, as you say—and beta males allow it. Because, no matter how you twist and turn it, in the end it is the man and not the woman who decides on what is accepted and what is not. I repeat: Women only have power because beta males allow it.

Do you have a source on that? Not necessarily doubting you, I'm just curious.

The first step to improving is realizing that there's a problem. You've done that now, so that's a great first step, and you've found TRP. What I'd recommend you do is read links on the sidebar, and also read some of the All Time Top Posts from this subreddit. You might find that some of the posts are just too dense, too abstract and unapplicable to your life right now. That's alright, just read and absorb what you can. One thing you will find said all over TRP is to lift weights, unless you are…

Sure, but what's the point? OP's question brings no value to the table. Even thinking about "the most RP holiday" is kind of silly, but hey that's just me.

You're kind of stretching it. Even supposing you're correct, who cares? Why would you skip it? Dress up as a gladiator (because you are lifting, right?) and go pick up hot bitches in skimpy clothes.

Funny, I was about to make a post like this a few weeks ago. I think one of the most important points, especially for newcomers, in the sidebar is the difference in how men and women love. Also everything IllimitableMan writes is golden, especially if you can put all that theory into practice (I for sure can't, not yet). There's a reason we keep telling everyone to read the sidebar.

A good book that sometimes is recommended on TRP: The Sex God Method. It's a fairly short book where the author explains (what he sees as) the four pillars of good sex: dominance, emotion, variety and immersion.

I've read both The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Howard Roark, the protagonist of the former, is a good example of a man with a strong (read: impenetrable) frame and I would recommend the book to anyone who has the time to read it.

Yeah. I used to subscribe to the NoFap subreddit, but I noticed it started to become more and more cult-like, and also very blue pill in regards to women. Now it's mostly just cringy.

It's not about "us versus them" nor about pride. Correct me if I'm wrong, but nationalism is basically the concept of a nation being individualistic, i.e. recognizing the fact that it's often in the nation's best interest to mind its own business first, just as an individualistic person would put himself first. Nationalism is probably a greater deal in Europe than in the US. Consider the European Union, an international union in which the participating countries are codependent as opposed to bei…

https://www.instagram.com/p/BD_bQRERAoW/?r=2274344448 Just look at the comments. "His loss!", " You're a babe!", "Boris can go suck it!! You're amaze-balls!!" and so on. The sad thing is that all women do this (and beta orbiters).

"Phones and screens have an impact and therefore caffeine does not!" While you are certainly right about TV and mindless surfing being poison to the mind, it's just another piece of the puzzle; it doesn't make overconsumption of caffeine less bad.
