it's hard to deal with that kind of isolation unless you're a sociopath or psychopath. not legal everywhere, you'll have to look into it youself. it's quite expensive, maybe 20-30 euro a month for me. i take 3 drops a day, sometimes more. I don't know about paranoia, but i have trouble with ocd and tourettes that it helps to manage. i find it stops the mind racing, smooths it out. you'll still have the paranoia, just it'll be easier to deal with.

Years ago during the depression era most of the working poor would not go into debt for any reason. I happen to think it is still a good rule of thumb even though it rules out paying for college through debt. I think if you are to have children you should only do so if you have enough money to pay the entire 20 year child support and alimony up front.
