I’ve been in your situation before but it wasn’t influenced by personal values like SJW vs RPW, it was more from negative attitude and emotional regulation problems influenced by major depressive disorder and the traumatic events that contributed to it. I personally didn’t want to rekindle with fairweather friends who abandoned me when my mental health was in poor condition because those aren’t real friends who genuinely care about me as a person. I don’t expect my friends to be my therapist and…

I guess one perk from being an unattractive girl is that I don’t have to worry about intimidating men because my looks don’t yield that kind of power. Men don’t go out of their way to befriend me in general because I’m not pretty, but that also means I won’t have to deal with clingy men constantly craving validation and reassurance from me. A handful of needy girls did that to me and it was so draining, I can’t imagine what it’s like for a man to do the same thing. I don’t have the patience and …

I know men and women are societally valued for different attributes and I’m not too familiar with manosphere lingo. What is a high value woman? Is it a woman who won the genetic lottery? A woman who’s pleasant to be around? A woman who’s more quiet, feminine, and passive by nature?

Oh, ok. I didn’t know. I figured she must have had some sort or viable evidence to get them fired in the first place.

1-3 made me sad and think “awwww I want to give her a big hug!” 4 made me think “okay that’s pushing it” then 5 is where I stopped reading. I’m an unattractive autistic 20 year old queer woman who’s simped and been rejected and lead on as much as the average Joe-Bob, but never that hard. :( is she conventionally attractive? is she educated? does she have any friends? does she have special needs? I want to know more about this woman and what factors would make her so compelled to do that.

I lurk here because as a 20 y/o introverted girl who’s inexperienced with relationships, it’s interesting to see people’s perspectives on here. However, there’s a lot of bitter undertones towards women. Sometimes I have to clock out of here because the projection and bitterness from here is too much.

I look as average as they come. Frumpy Plain Jane. Kinda unappealing. I grew up as the girl who was bullied for her weight and goofy face. Guys would always dare each other to ask me out as a joke. With the exception of getting groomed by a high school teacher to quickly receive creepy messages from him in college, I’ve never felt overwhelmed by male attention. I had like two genuine approaches in my life and one orbiter who tried to get close to me for a year then later gave up after he realize…

Black music encompasses so so much more than rap. This guy has clearly never heard of R&B, soul music, jazz music, gospel music, or the blues. good grief.

As an unattractive woman and a queer woman, I already related to men’s experiences more so than I ever did to other women’s. I have to try 100x harder than a conventionally attractive cishet woman to attain any admiration. I don’t receive unconditional love and get multiple chances for my shortcomings like the pretty girls get. I’ve already been called a creep. I only ever been called a creep by other women. Junior high was a nightmare. Since I was eleven years old, other girls called me a queer…

Reddit consists of 70% men. Most of the girls on Reddit (with the exception of OnlyFans thots) are faceless users with a cartoon avatar at best. Most don’t have selfies attached to them so we will never know if they are actually ugly. How on earth can they generate compliments if men don’t even have an idea of what they look like?

Getting bullied and called a lesbian by other girls in jr high. Having a guy friend tell his friends that he can’t date his female friends because the only one he he had (me) was ugly. Having three girls take pictures of me and call me a fat bitch. High school teachers gossiping about me being a creepy witch that could hex the whole school. Feelsbadman.

“Withholding sex from men” is bullshit. The Manosphere talks about it like a man is being denied a basic human right and the woman is committing a crime by exercising the right to say no. No one is entitled to sex from their partner. It should be an act two adults mutually want to do, not something the woman does out of some moral obligation or whtv.

I was called creepy, despite not doing anything wrong. I believe people felt creeped out by me because of my homeliness and aspergers. In high school, I looked like the genetic offspring of Sissy Spacek and Amy Schumer. Well behaved 4.1 GPA student. I still kind of look the same except my skin is clear and my hair is brown. I evasdropped on a teacher gossiping about me to faculty like I wasn’t even in front of her, saying “squidhandss acts so strange. she’s so creepy, i don’t even know if she’s …

And men prefer “natural beauty” aka no/natural makeup instead of full glam makeup. men are turned off by a woman having surgical work done to look better. They want the perceived “effortlessness” of their desirability, not the work that goes into it.

Unpopular opinion, but girls who struggle with dating have it much worse than guys who struggle with dating. At the end of the day, when it’s guys they are their worst enemy. They don’t try enough, they don’t reach out to enough women, they lack confidence, or they are too scared to ask her out. When a girl has the same issue, she is the one that is supposed to be approached. I’m not saying women don’t approach, it just deviates from conventional standards. There’s only so much she can do. Guys …

Glad you were able to laugh it off. Most straight guys, even if they aren’t outwardly homophobic, are a little uncomfortable around gay men because they are subconsciously concerned that they will be objectified the same as they do to women.

What if the guy starts bragging about it? What if he literally confesses it himself? I’m not going to disagree with innocent till proven guilty, but not all “evidence” has to be graphic. Another issue is that rape kits cost $1000 if you don’t have health insurance. It’s all too common for police departments throw rape kits away to “declutter”, so when some women mentally recover and want to seek justice later, all the evidence is tossed away. What about women who were raped as children and didn’…

Growing up ugly, I never worried about getting harassed or catcalled. I didn’t believe ugly girls like myself had to deal with objectification and creeps until I was 18. When I started to use public transit frequently, I had a man stare at me and follow me on three different lines, asking me to drink with him. I had men ask if I had a boyfriend and tell me I’m “hot”. I even had one extremely drunk guy give me $50 because I “have some nice strong legs HAAAaahaaAA”. When I was on a walk around my …

Too unsure about OLD. On reddit and online in general, I read about too many guys ghosting and pumping/dumping girls when they find out the girl is chubby or that she doesn’t look as pretty without makeup on and don’t want to continue things with her. I am afraid of getting verbally attacked or more likely, pumped and dumped for somehow being ugly to men in some way.

As a “fat ugly” woman to society, I faced nothing but rejection. Guys laughed at my face when I made the first move, they say I’m a thirsty fat girl behind my back for even thinking I had a chance with them. What type of world are you living in, I want in!

I guess so :( I just been feeling so depressed and gained too much weight because of this guy. I lost interest in my hobbies, I failed some classes, and I genuinely don’t feel like myself anymore bc of how he played me like that. When I told him about this as a friend, he blamed all of his actions on me, claiming it was all MY fault for not letting go (totally not how he lied to me numerous times) and how I needed to “find peace” when he was the one who needed to reflect on his shitty behavior I…

this is me circa this whole year. he played with my feelings, lied to me multiple times, turned my heart into a puppet show, left me hanging on a string, and showed zero remorse for his actions. he claimed that he never meant to hurt my feelings, but the way he treated me clearly proved the opposite. he forever ruined the way I’ll interact with men and he only gave me a half-assed “I’m sorry” when I called him out on his terrible behavior, but then he proceeded to call me crazy for not letting g…
