You don't need to tell me. I've climbed it countless times since I was 6 years old. If I went with a relatively fit adult who was unable to finish climbing Arthur's Seat I would find that surprising. Though maybe you went up an uncommon path? There are parts to Arthur's Seat which are incredibly steep, but not along the main routes to the top.

To be fair, as an Edinburgh local, I would say getting to the top of Arthur's Seat is a stretch to call 'hiking' (but I wouldn't be surprised if someone needed to rest if hill-walking wasn't typically their thing).
