That's not how law works. It has to be proven that she was raped, not proven that she wasn't. If it can't be proven either way, he's innocent.

Thanks for doing your job despite the bullshit. We need more men teaching primary. On an unrelated note, I remember sitting in a lesson in primary school, with no kids paying attention to their work because a kid had got himself stuck up a tree at breaktime and they still hadn't got him down.

Actually, I'd say it's worse to send it to someone media-ignorant. This means she can't actually work out what's what, like people on here can. If you have a good point (and you do), then you don't need to give yourself leeway. To do so actually lessens your point that there's plenty of misandry in modern advertising and products. While some of these make an excellent point (like what the FUCK is with that Samsung ad?), I'd have stuck to the adverts. Why? Because you can probably find offensive online images to back up any point. A sense of wanting to improve oneself is good. What needs changing is that a lot of people have a crushed self-esteem and belief that they are so ugly and worthless that they feel to miserable to actually improve their health. And there are a lot of online fans of 'BBW' - 'Big Beautiful Women' - porn of obese women. At the tamer end, I know women who prefer chubby men, and men who prefer chubby women.

Yes, that's what curvy always used to mean, and actually fucking means if you think about it. Their bodies curve more because their waists are thin compared to their breasts and hips. Fat is different. One can be fat and curvy, as I am. My waist is too large but my hips are noticeably far larger. Similarly, one can be fat but not curvy (sometimes called an apple shape).

Products with male-bashing slogans are fucking everywhere. When I was a kid, it was fashionable to have David & Goliath stuff. One of their best sellers was a design that said 'Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them'. I am part of a feminist group and can imagine the rage, the apologies and the withdrawal of some products if the genders were reversed on these. Because it's no longer okay to insult women, but it's fine to insult men. Ugh. But thanks for complaining.

I'm almost certain therapists are not trained/educated about males abused by females. They're still taught that abuse comes from men. I get strange responses when talking about a girl abusing a girl. It's a shit situation. There are a few specialist organisations that i would have thought would know about this stuff though - anti-bullying organisations and organisations for men who've been sexually abused.

I'm really sorry that this happened to you - I (female) had a similar comment made at me once in school and it's always stuck with me. It's the one incidence of bullying that I still hate to recall. I can see why it hurt you so much to have it happen frequently. Are you aware of r/anxiety? They may be able to give you a bit of help and support. I've had terrible anxiety and problems from a very young age and I'm doing well now. Never give up hope.
