Wow, never thought of this but I definitely favored male teachers growing up, and I'm male. Only had 14 that I can think of K-12, out of 72 total, but I definitely favored them overall. That being said I don't think students form the same opinions about teachers at age 8-14 vs 15-18. All of my teachers K-6 were women. Middle school and high school where I had 5-6 teachers a year, I had multiple male teachers each year, although usually just 2/5 or 6.

I'm 22 now but it used to be so easy.. Just seeing girls at the mall or anywhere outside of school. If you approach a younger girl like that, or better yet a group, they are so surprised and not send to it they love it. By the time they're out of college that's all over. Try talking to girls that don't go to your school as well. Definite status symbol for girls to know and hang out with guys from other schools and that can be you.
