If your first thought about having kids is that your relationship will fail and you’ll have to pay child support, you most certainly shouldn’t have kids. Get a prenup if you’re worried about finances. Unless the pros of having children outweigh the cons in your head, wrap it up.

I think it looks worse because someone she wasn’t attacking hit her. I expected the white cop do do something at least out of reaction. He either froze, or realized that she’s not right in the head and didn’t want to hurt her. I’d like to think there are professional cops like that out there.

Oh, ok. I just meant that I left for a reason that’s not easy to change. If makeup and earrings keep a female in that was thinking about getting out, then I support it. We used to not be able to roll our sleeves unlike the other branches, but they changed that. Regs change with the times.

I understand. Again, If there were easy to solve issues that would keep more men in, I’m all about it. I was an NCO and decided not to reenlist for a 3rd time. Not because women can wear their hair differently or have different showering standards, but because I was tired of wasting literal days on ranges to check a few boxes.

I’m curious as to why we should be upset? It’s a volunteer service with standards. If they believe this will help keep women in the Military because of their higher attrition rates, so be it. If a man wants to wear make up, he joined the wrong organization and is free to not reenlist. If they find out that men are leaving at a higher rate because they can’t wear earrings, then I fully support them to authorize earrings for males.

AR 670-1 will still regulate the length of nails, and when and where you can wear earrings. I’d imagine there will be unit policies also, such as no earrings in the motor pool or on the flight line, etc. IMO this really isn’t a big deal. If you want to be upset about something, be upset that there are two different physical fitness requirements, not what paint they want to put on their nails.
