so that means monogamy is not entirely necessary for society and therefore this statement is not a proof on why monogamy is necessary, cause there are other ways to preserve the humankind In this case, it is easy to imagine, that for males, taking a specifically good care of the youngs of the female he's currently fucking the most will increase the probability that the kids are his and that they're PARTICULARLY well taken care of. Now if you mix that with the fact we are probably hardwired to co…

There has been exposed that men have two sexual strategies in order to preserve their genes mentioned as "cads vs dads" mode. Dad mode is the monogamous way of preserving their offspring. Cad mode is spreading genes by the amount of quantity, the most amount of offspring increments the chances of some of them surviving by a numbers game, without the need of investing huge amount of resources. Quantity over quality, but thats evolution

cads vs dads theory states that men can have 2 strategies to preserve their genes. The latter on is the one you are mentioning, but "cads" strategy is quantity over quality. Having the biggest amount of offspring without taking care of it, there will be some that would survive. That's evolutionary and seems to contradict monogamy

/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 04:33 PM

mmm probably, but there are people that really dont want to be monogamous and dont feel any type of emotional attachment. They seem to have it the best in this scenario. While the ones who are monogamous and get attached get the worst downsides

Because realistically, that need to avoid attachment typically comes from going through pain or trauma. It’s a form of numbness that’s created in order to avoid going through those things again. I’ve personally been through this and it’s incredibly lonely and entirely based on fear. Anything that’s done out of fear will most likely cause suffering because you’re assuming that all your experiences will be negative when realistically it could be incredibly positive and fulfilling. That mindset wil…

For me being with my husband makes my life better than being on my own. Yeah, marriage requires time and efforts and sometimes it takes lots of both, but it's still worth it. I love him, I enjoy his company and I know that I can rely on him when I need it. It's not that there's a particular "point" in it, it's just that it's the way I want to live and I'm ready to go great lengths for him. I see, thanks for sharing your POV
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 04:37 AM

For one, it has the possibility of being the most intimate and rewarding relationship any two people can possibly have. Then why do almost 1 in 2 people get divorced? And there are a lot of downsides to commitment nowadays. It seems that the person who is not attached at all and doesn't need a monogamous relationship thrives and don't suffer at all in that regard.

A good relationship can create experiences that are the opposite of that; good experiences that become part of you and are always playing in the background. Rewiring neural pathways in positive ways is probably best done through positive experience. this is a very interesting perspective

Most blackpilled guys aren’t ready to accept that even attractive men can strike out for their entire adult lives due to lack of initiative and charisma. little to no contact with any women I think this mostly explains why men are strugglin more and more to get a woman nowdays than in the past. Because of several factors, men nowdays (specially the ones that dont have success with women) dont tend to interact with women so much, which makes them totally oblivious on how women work irl and make them unattractive, because they dont know women at all and barely interact with them. In the end is no suprise that women dont end up finding them attracti…

Who would have thought that a person that his primary focus was sex would still want the things that are only found in exclusivity (at least in most cases). But they want a woman who is a confidant and partner who they can talk about feelings with women are not responsible for the emotions of men. Its not good to seek a partner as a therapy... And this kinda explains why women are more comfortable with being single than men. They dont express their emotion ONLY to their partner on average... So, I cant really feel pity for men. Its not womens responsability to take care of the emotional needs of guys

/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/23 10:58 AM

Lol. Obviously radical feminism is gonna be rejected over there. If I ask them if they want their basic rights as women they will definitely agree with it. But if I tell them about modern femenism and women with crazy colored hair and armpits full of hair screaming, they will surely disagree with that. One extreme (men belittling women, kinda like you express in your comment) lead to the other extreme (crazy women with nonsense ideology)

It's in the transition from relationship to relationship that people of both sexes lose the pleasant traits that fertilize the soil for a healthy LTR in favor of trying to get the immediate gratification of the a relationships benefits without the legwork. Can you elaborate more on this, please?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/22 08:15 AM

mmmm interesting... but they don’t feel your happiness and sadness, don’t think about you and how you feel, and desire you beyond as an orgasm provider….it kinda destroys you. is that how you felt?

you don't know, he says that he lacks in looks, but everything else is perfectly fine. He even mentioned that a short guy could get a LTR with a beautiful woman. He just wants validation from hookups.

Ohh could you elaborate more on this? My feelings about it after are not at all what they were during that time. What were you feeling at the time? Interesting points, tbh. Although there are some things that I think this necessarily applies to all cases. You gotta get with somebody before you can even consider LTRs. Most of the incel crowd aren't finding success either way. I've gotten up close and personal to see marriages that lasted and continue to last into four and five decades. The common theme was that when confronted with all the bullshit that comes from going through the process of building a family and staying together for the long haul it's those shared memories that provide fuel to keep going. The longer someone is without a longterm partner in their age range (as this is an ideal match for longevity) the more of their young years and experiences are wa…

I also think that both men and women -- save for a tiny percentage of top men -- are far less happy after the sexual revolution than before. Getting casual sex and even LTR premarital sex was not worth losing real human connection, particularly in the most important relationship you can have. It's been a race to the bottom ever since 1960 and neither gender is happy with the results as evident from antidepressant usage, divorce, and countless articles, polls, and videos. Interesting, could you g…

If you keep changing plates, you can't maintain a LTR. That's why I mentioned Leo DiCaprio as an example of what many men wish to be. They would keep getting new girls every time if they could, but that doesn't allow for having a healthy LTR.

eeeeh ok? I understand what you said, but that wasn't really my question. I clearly stated that the LTR is healthy and that means that it also includes a good and decent sexual life. So, I will ask again: Do you think that validation from casual sex will bring you happiness and it's worth more than a Long Term Relationship with someone that loves you?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 01:15 AM
2

are you in a LTR?

/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 01:10 AM
2

ok, I get your POV. But in case you had a good LTR, do you think that validation from casual sex will bring you more happiness and is it worth more than that LTR with someone that loves you?

are you in a LTR?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 01:07 AM

are you in a LTR?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 01:07 AM

I think I could offer a woman unconditional affection and she would leave anyways given the opportunity, to seek someone taller, richer etc. If you were sure that your partner wouldn't leave you for someone better, would you prefer that LTR over hook-ups?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 01:06 AM
1

Without that approval, I am nothing. but do you really need the validation from hook-ups?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 01:03 AM
4

So you prefer status over true love, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 01:02 AM
7

the validation comes from knowing someone thinks you are worthy enough to have your most deep seated physical and emotional needs met. wooooooow this is extremely interesting. Thanks for explaining it to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 01:02 AM
3

Oh perfect, thanks for answering and sharing your POV. Any man who seeks external validation from women to have internal peace and happiness is a slave to pussy and needs help. And I agree with this. I actually wonder how the feeling of "validation" works on the brain because I find it insane that many men are obsessed with casual sex for validation rather than the sex itself, and are willing to sacrifice a good long-term relationship for it. I find it so interesting
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:58 AM
1

Ok, so what were you trying to say here? I’m a rarity who can stay “in love” (that feeling) with someone forever, and want to have that most of the time….
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:53 AM
2

So, in your opinion, would you leave a healthy LTR for hook-ups?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:49 AM

Interesting. How do they act as partners?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:48 AM

They don't really understand how they work, they don't even want to going into one and if somehow they end up in one, they are messing it so easily it leads to breakup relatively quickly. but, are they happy not being in a LTR?

I want to remind you that my question was this one: Do you think that validation from casual sex will bring you happiness and it's worth more than a Long Term Relationship with someone that loves you?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:41 AM
1

ok
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:25 AM
2

ok, I understand that POV. But would you ditch a LTR for countless of hook-ups?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:24 AM
1

Ooooh, thanks for sharing those experiences. they're into gay bar shit, etc. what does this means?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:23 AM
1

A good amount of men in this sub have said that they want hook-ups because that brings them validation.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:21 AM
1

Would you change that wonderful LTR for countless of hookups?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:19 AM
2

are you a man?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:18 AM
1

so... do you have an open marriage?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:17 AM
2

Ok, I get your point, but what about this? Do you think that validation from casual sex will bring you happiness and it's worth more than a Long Term Relationship with someone that loves you?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 12:13 AM
3

It makes sense. Thanks for answering.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:55 PM
7

Ehhh no. If you keep changing women that means you're not keeping one. That's why I mentioned Leo DiCaprio as an example.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:53 PM
5

Oh wow. Could you elaborate on why that is?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:52 PM
5

To make it simple, I would prefer true love, but again I don't think the mating game we play today is conducive to finding it. In fact it would be naive to expect to. Interesting. Thanks for answering my question.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:51 PM
5

You gave me an extremely detailed description of why validation through hook ups is so important to many men. Also your POV.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:48 PM
4

It's in my case. I made that question because of comments like these that I have seen in this sub: Regardless of it being a phase, it’s a phase I want to have. I want the validation, I want women to ogle me and thing I’m hot just on looks alone. The worst part is that I never even got a choice in the matter, the universe just sort of said to me “you’re not going to have it”. I’ve got plenty of other characteristics, otherwise I wouldn’t have had LTRs and have one now, but I couldn’t give a shit …
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:44 PM
0

Plus tons of people have kids and a partner and will end up alone and lonely. I agree
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:38 PM
2

Most men not emotionally mature enough to handle the bad that comes with casual sex. What are the bad parts from casual sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:37 PM
4

But would you trade a healthy and loving long-term relationship for validation that comes from hookups?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:34 PM
1

The Validation one gets from hook ups is from hooking up with that person sexually, because sex feels good. Many men admit that they are not doing it only for sex because they could get that from a LTR. I'm talking about the ones that wish to receive validation from hookups exclusively.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:33 PM
1

But, do you rather have a LTR over hookups?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:31 PM
4

If you keep changing plates, you can't maintain a LTR. That's why I mentioned Leo DiCaprio as an example of what many men wish to be. They would keep getting new girls every time if they could, but that doesn't allow for having a healthy LTR.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:29 PM
3

that's not how it works irl tho
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:25 PM
1

Interesting. Do you think people without a partner or children can avoid feeling loneliness when they're old?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:23 PM
3

fr, that's why I find this so interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:22 PM
8

Remember I mentioned this, They also wish to be someone like Leo DiCaprio that keeps getting women in their 20s because that's their "prime" age. Some guys imagine their dream life as a man in his 40s having constant sex with women who are in their 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:20 PM
1

interesting. What do you think about the "validation" that hookups can give?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:17 PM
2

hookups over LTRs?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:16 PM
6

I hope that I can one day. Maybe I'm just the type of person to value these types of things over others haha I also hope that you can experience it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:16 PM
3

Interesting answer btw. Really interesting POV.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:14 PM
3

So you prefer status over true love, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 08:13 PM
2

/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 07:37 AM

Primarily validation. Contrary to popular (in this sub, at least) belief, most young women aren't actually running around having lots of casual sex. However, if you can get a date out of them, the ball is largely in your court as to whether you get a one-night-stand, a long term relationship, something else, or nothing. fr
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 06:16 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/22 04:13 AM

It depends on each woman

My gf at the time was dropping subtle hints that she didn't like the way I was starting to look, but... This sucks I had to leave a good career because it was making me miserable Would you mind telling which career was that? and how old you were at this point? So she bailed after it stopped being fun for her. It's sad that some relationships are just for superficial reason. Also, how good looking were you in your prime years? Could you describe it?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 04:23 PM

However, they did get in the door but they were thrown out as fast as they got in. ooohhhhhh gets rejected by a decent number of black women as soon as he speaks cause he sounds like an Essex white guy. But most women aren't an honor to be with; they're argumentative, demanding, and don't bring anything to the relationship besides sex/physical intimacy You're such a catch! LOL. Good luck to them haha

Ok. So the girls you have been with felt afraid that you're gonna cheat on the long term because you're really attracive, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 11:45 PM

Are you a man or a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 11:37 PM

I think it’s hilarious the vast majority of you cannot get away with it despite it being your deepest desire 😂 Hahahaha totally! LOL
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 11:36 PM

Really interesting. Im unable to attract girls I want to date long term because typically what attracts in the short term is off putting long term Could you please elaborate it more?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 11:29 PM
1

Interesting, because I have heard many people saying that they want to go to California.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 11:11 PM

Face is the most important thing for attraction. I agree with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 11:08 PM

Moreover, men who have casual sex tend to get bored of it, and those in spaces like TRP those who 'made it' can then struggle with transitioning. Where I can see this?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 10:58 PM

it just gets old very fast, specially as you get older and have other priorities in your life than having your existence validated by random women Interesting

Really sad point of view honestly. Life is not all about sex, dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 02:25 PM

What you are saying makes a lot of sense, and I agree with you. I asked for more proofs because lately there's a lot of men saying that they can "love" a lot of women but I know that's a lie. I just want more proof of this to leave them speachless about this topic. The problem is that they want "scientific" papers because anecdotical experiences doesn't matter to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 01:38 PM

Interesting
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 01:33 PM

I am saying the vast majority of time, thr desire for multiple women in men, it's for sex and newness and excitement, not to establish real love connections and relationships. Do you mind showing more proof for this statement?

I mean, I think it's good that she changed. It just makes me think about the influence of emotional issues in promiscuity. And makes me wonder if most women who have a high body count may have them.

Guys who grew up in very safe environments with little hostility and competition usually arent as naturally dominant as guys who grew up in the opposite circumstances. Interesting. Do you know if some paper talk about this in detail?
