But on internet he/she can simply use block option to ignore people who are abusing them And that's exactly what's wrong with the internet. Why should anybody tolerate because it's the internet? Same protections should exist as in real life. Physical force is not possible but atleast similar legal protections should exist. I'm all in support for anonymity in private groups. I'm simply asking that people should show their face while commenting, just like in real life. You will still be allowed to create private groups and discuss anything you want without any moderation. If internet anonymity is a basic human right then I'd argue that real life anonymity is also a basic human right. But most countries, for the sake of safety do not allow covering your head in public places. Privacy and anonymity can be regulated for the sake of safety of citizens. Internet didn't even exist for the 99.99% of humanity's existence and people did just fine criticising and revolting against the government.
