Also, the fact that we didn't afford the luxury of cooking meat like that. To begin with, under communism the food was rationalised after the 70's(at least in Romania) after the leader saw how business is done in North Korea, so having a meal with meat was a rather rare thing. Then, since it was rare(no pun intended lol), you either cooked it thoroughly or you wasted a perfectly fine piece of meat.

Once I went hiking with my friends and I was wondering why my endurance was so much better than last time, that's when I realised it was because of cardio, and it really made it way more enjoyable because I could hike no problem. I'll start going back go gym as soon as I can so I can better myself
