Don't wait a few days to ask her out again. All that texting is not doing you any good.

Then I read about the guy here who 'turned down a threesome to spend time with his buddies instead' and I'm pretty much done. Got a link to this? I'm curious.

Life happens. There are more important things than first dates with a stranger, even if you really like that stranger. She probably had something happen in her life that she had to deal with.

But you've probably missed sex with 3/4 of the girls you've went on dates with because of that. The whole point is that this doesn't bother me. Just like girls want to wait to feel comfortable to have sex, so do I. I appreciate your perspective, but different people are wired differently, and that's okay. I've had sex on the first date before, and it wasn't that fulfilling. I'm not saying I would never do it - I'm just saying generally I'm not in a position where I want to.

The first time you tried to ride a bike, did you put it on the highest gear and ride 20 miles? Of course not. Just like anything else, you just need to practice.

Not all men want to have sex anytime they can. I generally don't like to have sex until at least the 3rd or 4th date, because that's just when i feel comfortable doing that. If a woman thinks I'm less of a man for that, then so be it - it's her loss. The idea of men always wanting sex from any woman he finds attractive is outdated.

That's totally legit if you're okay with just having them as a friend. But if you're going to be unhappy with unrequited love, seeing them with someone else, etc., then it doesn't work like that. I have plenty of platonic female friends. It's great, and I'm thrilled they're in my life. But when I see them with a guy, I'm happy for them - no jealousy. On the other hand, I've had a situation where I had feelings for someone that weren't returned. In that situation, it wasn't okay for me to just be…

Make sure to escalate and everything, but if this doesn't go how you want it to, at least let her know if you're going to stop hanging out with her or whatever. Don't just fall off the face of the Earth. Best of luck though, hope it doesn't come to that!

They're 2 complete strangers. Why do you care about their opinions at all, not to mention enough to let it ruin your night?

Be true to yourself. The girl is not the prize, you are.

I really like the eliciting values routine, but it sitll brings up the same question: how do you go into that organically?

Haha or at least put on sunscreen before doing that.

Good call! I've been an athlete my whole life, so that's a good thing to take advantage of!

Just ignore and move on. Doesn't really matter.

"Are you tired? You can just go to sleep" This was a big mistake, but she likes you, so no problem. Anyway, she's only there for 2 more weeks - you're not gonna end up dating her, so just enjoy the next 2 weeks, and then move on.

Great report! Also, I wanted to mention that hockey is an amazing game. I absolutely love it. Great work out and an absolute blast - also a great social outlet.

The truth, no matter how awful, is always better than uncertainty. Just accept that it's over, and move on.

Do whatever the fuck you want, but just cool your shit for now. You're on seddit, dude. It's not a big deal if someone disagrees with you.

What? Everyone has a certain right to privacy. It's not about keeping secrets, but you don't need to share everything.

Ohhh, gotcha. I thought you were trying to move away from high school game. You are correct though, that the social proof and outgoing points still apply.

Perfect. Just be willing to dance, like it sounds like you already are. You'll have fun, get better at dancing, and meet people in the process.

Well, I think college seduction is actually a vastly different game than "adult" seduction. I graduated last May, so I've been making the adjustment recently. In college, there's a ton of natural access to girls. It's important to take advantage of this. You will likely make your friends early on, so it could be good to use that as social proof. Just be friendly and don't be afraid to open people at parties, coffee shops, on campus, etc. Be one of the most social guys on campus, and it will do w…

Be up front from the beginning. Don't lie to her and lead her on, and you should be good.

The settings are very different. Being in class vs. out in the world (or at a bar) are very different things. Practice makes perfect though, so just try to get used to the new settings.

Thanks for the response, and I'll elaborate. We live in DC, so I'll look into cafe's and stuff. I love hiking, but I have work and she has class tomorrow, so it needs to be a night time activity. Perhaps if it goes well, I can take her hiking on the weekend, but for tomorrow, I don't see it as an option.

I'll go with the very generic question that was used as an example here: I'm taking a girl out tomorrow, but she's 20. Therefore, my usual date of drinks isn't an option. What non-alcohol related activities have you guys found to be good ideas?

Just go with kino. Why were you pretending not to see her sex organs?
/r/seduction28/08/13 07:45 PM

Escalate anyway. If she reacts poorly or tells you to stop, then stop, but no need to try to find an IOI before escalating. Her reaction to the escalation will tell you if she's interested.

It depends how you define severe. I have depression, and I'm medicated for it. Despite that, it still impacts me in my everyday life. I go through major phases of being successful and unsuccessful. Anyway, the only way you have a shot is with outcome independence. It took my a while, but I finally got to the point where I was able to assess how I did regardless of whether or not I closed. You really can't win em all, and that's okay. Once I (somewhat) achieved outcome independence, I was able to…

Stop assuming these girls are nerds. It's fine to let that part of yourself out a bit, but don't go so strong with it. Be overtly sexual, not overtly nerdy.

I appreciate the honesty. I am very aware of the possibility that she's not into me. If that's the case, I am fine with just moving on and getting past it. What I'm trying to get at with the post is that I don't think actively pursuing her would yield positive results. If you (or anyone else) thinks differently, I would love to hear why. If freezing her out (per se) causes it to be over, at least then I know, and I focus on other girls. No big deal.

I dealt with this shit for a while. It sucks. The bottom line is: It doesn't fucking matter why she's doing it. She's with someone else. Whether he's the love of her life or some loser she's using to try to get over you makes no difference. Don't fucking chase her. Here's the biggest thing I can say to you: HER SENDING YOU THAT PICTURE CHANGES ABSO-FUCKING-LUTLEY NOTHING. You're the same person you were before you got the picture. Nothing changed. It's just a picture, and you've seen it before. …
/r/seduction09/08/13 03:17 AM

Fair enough. I am very aware that it is likely over at this point, but I feel like something of a freeze out is the best chance I have at this point.

I've been honest with her. I told her I wasn't the type of person to get into anything serious (true) and that I didn't want to be merely friends. That's pretty much the extent to which things have really happened with her. As for terminology, kino means general physical contact. It's pretty standard across the sub, so I just used the jargon that seems to be the norm.

I'm not going to tell her she's too irresistible to leave alone, because she's not. She's a nice girl who I enjoy spending time with, but anything about being too irresistible would be a complete lie. Perhaps I shouldn't have gone on the second date, but I did, and I can't change that. I have to deal with the situation as it lies now. Making some big speech about how irresistible I think someone is seems like a pretty dangerous idea to someone who has already stated that she doesn't want to get …

Just deflect it without lying. Say something along the lines of "I just know I'm happy with you right now"

I spent a semester in college in Eastern Europe (Prague specifically), and people there often speak some English, even if they aren't quite up front about it. Try to greet them in their language (you should at least be able to say "Hi, do you speak English?" in whatever the native language is. Once you show that you're willing to make an effort to speak their language, they'll be much more likely to try to speak English with you.

I'm casually seeing a few people right now. How do I handle it if one of them asks if I'm seeing other people?

Why do you want plausible deniability? If someone's not interested, it's fine, but you don't need to pretend you're not interested in them.

I don't like the friend's approach. Saying she can join if she wants makes it too easy for her to not go. It also seems as if you're too available. Do a mini freeze out and wait until you run into her again.
