I think that's a legal grey area, and I would most likely pay for myself and just ghost them. I don't want to get arrested, or have some poor server be stuck with my bill.

I agree with this to an extent. I used to do this when using OLD, it works for meeting a lot of people quickly. I think in the future though I'd rather talk to people a bit longer and have higher investment dates.

Just a tip, arrange your own transportation for first dates. You never know what could happen after you get into their car.

I would do even less explaining than that, and just let him know I don't do coffee, drinks, or walks for first dates, I do dinner. You're giving him basically the entire date idea right there, he'd be an idiot not to go through with it. I hope it works out!

If he hasn't committed already, he doesn't want you that way and he won't commit to you, ever. You can't make a man commit to you, and you shouldn't want to. You say no one else has made you feel this way, why not put that to the test and actually give someone else a chance? Someone who wants a relationship with you, not a fwb.

I usually only pay if we are exclusive or nearing exclusivity, or if they are a dear friend to me (not a romantic relationship). I try to reserve wife and girlfriend duties until I know they are HVM, things like paying, gifts, chores, etc. That being said, you didn't spend too much, if he was still willing to and you just wanted to do a nice thing because you were having fun, I don't see anything wrong with that. Making him pay is more a litmus test of his interest in you.

I've slept with/dated guys who scolded me for sleeping "too much" instead of spending time on them. I'm chronically ill and I work nights, I will bite the head off anyone who wakes me up or tries to make me feel bad about sleeping. He sounds like he's projecting, or very insecure. I'd ditch him.

This was so premeditated. They filmed her having consensual sex so she wouldn't be believed. Holy shit.

I used to date a lot of musicians and they were mostly unreliable and commitment phobic. They love their guitars more than they will ever love you.

I am working late, and then meeting my best friend and having some drinks. My bf is having a party but it's mostly his group and I'll be late anyway, so it's not a priority.

If anyone watches her video about her relationship with her bf Hunter she says all the same terrible things. She has no self esteem and tortures herself with abusive men who won't commit to her. She had a short, toxic relationship with rapper Lil Xan and has a video about him too. Her relationships are fuel for her reality star YouTube life.

You need to leave to set a good example for your daughter's. You're too young to settle, work on the things you need to do to be independent and DO NOT marry him.

It just sounds like you don't have any female friends. You can just make some if you want, relationships take reciprocity and effort. You can't just expect random women to be there for you

If she is attracted to you and interested it's flirting, if she is not attracted to you and not interested its harassment, why is that so hard to wrap your head around. It's only logical.

I think you're overreacting, and after she told you the reason why she wasn't interested anymore you should have stopped speaking to her. You look weak and a little bit crazy in your later messages. Some women want different things, she wasn't down to hook up, the next one probably will be. Keep going.

What you're saying makes sense, there will always be groupies. I'm personally super into musicians and a lot of people I know are. There will always be some who don't care as much, but I think it'd be worth it.

This sounds unnecessarily conniving, like don't force yourself to talk to someone who you think is an idiot. Just enjoy yourself. Talk about what you want to talk about. Great conversationalist chemistry going on? Fabulous! None? Maybe it's her, do light things that don't involve a lot of deep talk. Maybe it's you. All you can do is try to be present and confident, see what works and see what doesn't for you, and not everyone you speak to will be a great conversation.

Even if ending a relationship is a relief or a good thing, you can be affected and still grieving. Emotions are complex and people are affected by things differently. I don't think that's enough to seriously consider her as having BPD. Does she split on you? Going from hating you to loving in a minute? Hurt herself either by self harm or destructive, impulsive behaviour? Is dysphoric and depressed for a lot (if not most) of the time? Fear of being abandoned, suicidal feelings/ideation? I see dia…

Other people might feel insecure, or they might just be trying to have good posture and feel good about themselves. You are probably noticing this because you're aware of your own posture now, instead of this being a new occurrence.

Working in restaurants, just give them some business. Don't apologize profusely or send a note. Just go there a couple times for dinner, bring some friends, write a good review. They will appreciate your money way more than anything else.

I disagree, the husband doesn't want the part of her she's giving to her friend. He doesn't want to talk about her feelings and experiences. What is she supposed to do? Suffer alone in silence? Why would it be different if she was "giving a part of herself" to a female friend instead of a male one? I'm bisexual, should I just never have any friends? She said that he is self centred, obviously he is. She needs to take care of herself and her loneliness if he won't.

You're allowed to have close male friends, don't feel guilty. It's kind of cruel of your husband to not meet any of your emotional needs or even try, and then to say that you don't need a social life. Obviously you very much do need emotional support and contact. Your husband isn't meeting your emotional needs, which to me means he isn't a good fit for you, but if you believe he is and want to stay with him, you will 100% need friends to meet this need, male or female it doesn't matter.

You broke up with him, stop trying to control his online behaviour. If he doesn't want to get back together, you need to go no contact and move on. He's not nexting you, you already broke up with him. Stop checking his dating profile. Meet up with him and ask him to get back together if that what you want, but for gods sake leave him alone.

Don't join a sorority, unless it's a dry or dryer one, because greek life is synonymous with alcohol. But you're going into college with the wrong mindset. Don't assume all your classmates are evil harlots, what makes you so great? Be nice to everyone, be friends with everyone, pick your close friends as people who share your values and who you get along with. It won't be as hard as you think

You're overreacting. If you don't trust your fiance enough to have these friends over, then you don't trust him enough to marry him. If you want to waste a couple thousand dollars and make yourself look like a psycho, by all means, fly to him.

Absolutely end it, he's not going to change his mind, and neither are you. 4 months is way too early to be committed to someone who has such different goals than you do.

I don't think you should care about your stylists feelings, people go to different stylists all the time and he's happy for your business if you go back to him to fix your hair. I also think your hair could grow longer, your terminal length is probably not shoulder length. You just need to baby it and stop using heat, dye, etc. These things damage your hair. If you take a few months to a year to grow it out and keep it healthy, I think you could easily go blonde. Thin hair is normal/fine, people…

It sounds like he's just trying to support his ex right now emotionally if she's going through a hard time. Talk to him about your feelings but keep in mind he needs his friends and just because they dated before doesn't mean he's going to cheat or has romantic feelings for her

He's just stressed out right now. Give him space, focus on your own studies/work/friends. When school is over, if he still treats you like this, talk to him about the things you don't like and see if you guys can come to a compromise to make you both happy. If he doesn't want to work through it, break up with him.

Split the bill/or pay on the first date to set a precedent of yourself as financially secure, then they won't think you are trying to get a free meal. Its the dating culture/environment right now. That's what those men are used to, so they'll try it on you to see if you're compliant. Don't be compliant, but don't ghost, because they don't know what they're doing wrong. When he says "let's hangout at my place" suggest something else, a coffee, a walk, literally anything other than that. If he pre…

Ideal for me: Evenly tanned and clear skin (fake tan cuz nobody wants wrinkles) Tight, toned athletic body, athletic skills long soft hair personal uniform/signature look that shows off my glam and minimalist style I'm essentially at my ideal look, just growing out my hair a bit, and i'm bulking in the gym right now. Just because he doesn't like you doesn't mean he would if you improved yourself, there's nothing implicitly wrong with you, sometimes our feelings just aren't reciprocated. Don't get too down on yourself, but self improvement is always a good thing :)

I love tall men, it's an instant heat for me. Over my winter break I was drunk and at a club and went up to a towering dude w a beard and begged him to take my number. The best sex I ever had was with a skinny fat guy shorter than me (I'm 5 5). I wouldn't ever realistically turn down someone over height. Though I know some super picky/entitled women would. Most women I know wouldn't. Just because women say they like height or deride shorter men doesn't mean the majority are shorty hating harpies…
