It is if you push hard enough, just like any form of cardio. Buy a fitness tracker or bike computer with a heart rate monitor and keep your heart rate above a certain level. Or do intervals.

You converted the units wrong. Price of gasoline in Denmark is way less than $24. If you don't have a pool then buy a wetsuit and go swim in open water.

Well fuck those lazy fuckers for giving a fuck. Excuse me now, I have to get to the gym.

It's hilarious how some of you guys whine about female entitlement, and then turn around and complain when entertainment companies don't give you exactly what you want. Do you see the irony? There's nothing wrong with playing video games once in a while. But anyone who takes it seriously and labels himself as a "gamer" is frankly just pathetic. You're not learning anything. You're just killing time. And if you're actually angry about a game, well that just means your life priorities are fucked.

Get knocked down and have your knee move in a way it's not supposed to. Bro do you even hoop? Knee injuries are pretty common even in rec leagues. And once you damage a joint it's never really the same again.

Blown out knees if you do it wrong.

Which specific genes do you think he has? Because most of what you hear about genetics is pseudoscience bullshit by people looking for excuses about why they're fat and weak.

If you want actionable advice then tell us specifically what you want to accomplish. But in general seizing opportunity is about consistently showing up, working hard, and meeting your obligations all while not letting others take advantage of you. If you don't like your current environment then stop making excuses and just move. Greyhound tickets are cheap. You might find though that your problems are internal in which case moving won't help.

Most cavemen didn't actually live in caves. They built huts out of whatever was around, just like poor people today.

We've all seen cases like that. It disproves the claims of incels who complain that they'll never find a girlfriend just because they're short or have poor facial bone structure or whatever.
/r/TheRedPill09/05/18 01:20 PM

You guys ought to get together and drown the incels in a bathtub or something. Those fuckers are scary. You'd be doing society a favor.

Most people starting a lifting program really need to hire a certified personal trainer. Proper form doesn't come naturally to most people and it's not something you can really learn from Reddit posts or YouTube videos. If you get injured and have to stop exercising all your gains will disappear in a hurry.

Entitled much? You don't deserve to be with attractive women on the basis of making some minimal effort. Stop wasting time whining about things your can't change. Focus on yourself.

I didn't realize the military minimum push-ups standard was so low. I'm a middle aged man in mediocre shape and usually do 35 every morning just to wake myself up. It seems odd that the military doesn't expect more from recruits.

DEXA scans only cost like $50 and are available everywhere now. There's really no excuse not to get one. Most people are deluding themselves by relying on calipers or other bullshit measurements which consistently underestimate BF% by 5% or more.

You're asking the wrong people. First see a doctor (or probably several doctors) and get surgery to fix what can be fixed. Then you need to find a local physical therapist and a personal trainer certified for working with handicapped clients. Good luck, and be more careful with your body.

Your general point is correct, but this kind of bullshit dominance play is why normal people fucking hate buying cars. The manufacturers are really cutting their own throats by allowing franchised dealers to abuse customers this way. Hopefully the Tesla model of factory owned stores with non-commissioned employees will eventually drive car dealers out of business.

Evidence for breakfast soon after waking up is mixed. Based on the latest research into intermittent fasting it might be better to delay or skip breakfast depending on how late you ate dinner. This is an area of active research so the best practice still isn't clear.

If you keep predicting doom long enough, eventually you'll be right. Western Civilization has already collapsed and been reborn multiple times in the last ~2500 years. Most female doctors do end up having children.

That's right. Some parts of the Constitution apply more than others. This is why we have federal courts: to resolve those conflicts. And for those who haven't been paying attention, the power to appoint and approve those judges is why elections for Presidents and Senators have serious long term consequences lasting long after they leave office.
/r/TheRedPill28/03/17 06:30 AM

You're in the "legal profession" as like a courthouse shoe shine boy, right? Go back and read the Constitution again. And who gives a shit about monetization anyway? If you want to post some rant on YouTube you can still do that without ads. Stop being an entitled little bitch and expecting a free lunch from Google. Get a real job and self fund your video production if it matters that much to you.

The Muslim majority nations have nothing to fight a war with, except maybe the Pakistani nukes. Otherwise they have to buy all their advanced weapons from us or the Russians because they're too ignorant and lazy to build their own. There will be continued intermittent terrorist acts followed by proportional reprisals but no major "clash of civilizations" type war. The military industrial complex is gearing up for a war with China. They think that history is repeating itself with China now playin…

You're overcomplicating it with trivial details. The difference between a child and an adult is that an adult takes responsibility for his or her own life regardless of external circumstances. This applies equally to men versus boys and girls versus women.

False. The ACA (Obamacare) explicitly allows medical insurance plans to offer premium discounts to non-obese members. I save on my insurance by staying thin.

Your medications might slightly increase your appetite or decrease your resting metabolism but they aren't putting food into your mouth. Eat less.
/r/TheRedPill15/02/17 10:40 PM

False. I get a discount on my medical insurance premium for not being obese. Fat people do pay more. The ACA (Obamacare) specifically allows for this. Go read the law before posting "alternative facts".

Most medical insurance plans do now give a discount for members with <25 BMI. This is specifically allowed in the ACA (Obamacare).

A single anecdote doesn't prove anything about Western civilization one way or the other. There are millions of English women so you can always find at least one who has done anything you can think of no matter how stupid, evil, or perverted. The same thing applies to any other populous country: USA, China, Russia, Argentina, Egypt, etc. If you want anyone to take you seriously then forget about confirmation bias and quit over analyzing sensationalist stories in the media. Learn some statistics …

Oh come on you guys are suckers for believing this crap. British advice columns are about as real as Penthouse Forum. The editors make up questions, or wildly change real questions, just for entertainment purposes. The point is to titillate readers and give them something to tsk tsk over. In other words, pics or it didn't happen.

It's meaningless. No one has been drafted in the USA for decades, nor will there be an actual draft in the future. Modern warfare requires fewer and fewer actual people. This is just another "splitter issue" to distract the populace from real problems.

Spiritual science is an oxymoron. If that hippy bullshit helps you get better results in your own life then go for it. But none of it is actually scientific. There are no falsifiable hypotheses.

Mostly nonsense. 401(k) accounts are held by third party financial services companies like Vanguard and Fidelity. If your employer gets into financial trouble they have no access to that money. The only funds they have access to potentially is deductions from your last few paychecks which they haven't actually wired to the plan administrator yet, but even that is legally well protected. If you're worried about taxes rising just put your contributions into a Roth 401(k) option. Most large employe…

I see you're as ignorant about sharks as you are about women. How many leopard sharks bite?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/15 05:24 PM
1

Social issues are proven by social scientists conducting large scale studies of randomly selected members of the population. Anecdotes are useless in evaluating broad societal trends. In a nation of 350MM you can find numerous anecdotes about shark attacks. That doesn't mean many people are actually getting bitten by sharks.

You missed the point of the question. We have pretty good data on the prevalence of rape. There are crime report statistics and actual scientists have published peer-reviewed studies based on surveys of thousands of people. Whereas the whole "red pill" concept appears to rely on unproven assertions with no hard data. So far in this thread I've seen some plausible hypotheses (mixed in with random pretzel logic) but it appears no one has done the hard work of actually trying to test anything in a …

I'm sorry you were raped. No one deserves that regardless of how you were dressed. Some people just seem to give off a vulnerable victim vibe and predators repeatedly target them.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/15 06:50 AM

Well there's your problem. You are mentally fragile causing predators and aggressors to see you as an easy victim. This has instilled irrational fears.

Don't know who Rollo is. Tried to read it but couldn't follow; needs a good editor. Author uses regular English words but seems to intend different meanings that don't match the dictionary definitions. Possibly an intentional attempt to target a self-selected group of true believers. In that sense it reminds me of the L. Ron Hubbard drivel that scientologists treat as received wisdom. As for specific tells to assess relationship strength this article seems fairly accurate based on my own limited…

You don't know what falsifiable means either. One person talking to a few selected others in different social circles won't test anything. It's just more anecdotes and too many uncontrolled variables with no real data. "No true Scotsman" and all that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/15 11:23 PM

I get my fill of submissive people at work, always expecting to be told what to do. Last thing I would want is to come home to some ditz of a submissive wife. It would just be more work for me. Equality is a lot easier and more sustainable, provided that both are sane and intelligent.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/15 10:57 PM
1

Oh please not that old nonsense again. This is the best time in history to be alive. Our parents didn't have Internet, lacked access to modern advanced medical care, drove shitty cars, had to put up with higher levels of crime / racism / sexism, etc. The past only looks better through rose-colored glasses. Whiners have been whining about social decay and sexual immorality since the beginning of recorded history and yet we're still here and doing better than ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/15 10:40 PM
1

Of course there's no way to be absolutely certain but most people are incapable of keeping their mouths shut about that stuff. They tell someone who gossips to a few more etc. Word gets around.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/15 10:29 PM
6

I don't think you know what the word "theory" actually means. So far all I see are random anecdotes, unfalsifiable assertions, and wild extrapolations that take limited scientific research out of context. If you want to talk to me about theory then show me large-scale research studies in peer-reviewed journals.
